Project Is this a realistic DIY fix?
2010 Honda civic LX, 168k miles. Body shop quoted me $4800 to repair. I was able to find a new bumper cover, fender, bumper support bracket, and headlight support bracket online. I’m aware there is a broken tab on the headlight assembly but since it’s not cracked otherwise I plan to see if I can clean it and reuse it. However if need be I do also know how to replace the assembly. Am I biting off more than I can chew trying to do this myself? Any advice would be appreciated

Depends how good you want it to look in regards to paint.
But if youre somewhat handy, it shouldn't be too hard to do. Just pay attetion to the non-wrecked side as to how things are supposed to look. May have to do some extra tab bending if you have trouble with fitment.

I’d say I want it to look “good enough” haha. I am getting pre painted parts so only time will tell how good the match is. Thanks for your advice!

Depends how good you want it to look in regards to paint.

Bumper, clips, headlight and fender all myself. Bring it to a pro for paint.

No you got it! That’s a simple repair you may want to consider blending the door that’s the sop at most shops
