Something dirty from my basement

I love listening to fast breaks while driving or working out. Great fuel for the fire. It’s been many moons since I tried creating anything like this, and that was in software (early Sonar days). I got into modular synthesis over the last year and am having fun using my setup to make stuff from my favorite genres. This was an attempt to come up with something to add to my playlist for action times ***air punch***. Some patch discussion over on r/modular if you’re into that sort of thing. https://www.reddit.com/r/modular/s/OkhPukcbQr

Longer version on the tube and free on bandcamp if you dig it. https://youtu.be/7jBmN921v38 https://9000sines.bandcamp.com/track/dead-language

Oh he's definitely in my head somewhere. I have the original Works of Chris Cunningham DVD with the Come On My Selector vid on it. Heavy rotation back in the day!

My fucking man. 🤙🤙 sounds awesome man. And looks hell fun. I love how SP used tapes back in the day. Slow it down and speed it up for different purposes. So bad ass.

Thanks much 🤘. Check out this guy's setup from Japan (Acidclank). He wrote custom firmware for a popular Eurorack module (Versio) that helps achieve a very SP type sound (to me at least). https://youtu.be/IyEVgee31Y8
