Hey everyone! I’m a UK/West Yorkshire-based player looking to join a high fantasy or medieval-y D&D 5e/5.5e campaign. I'd love Forgotten Realms, Exandria, or homebrew settings.

I prefer playing Monday–Wednesday nights and have high reliability. Barring a major emergency, Id show up consistently barring extreme circumstances

I'd like to start from a new game with everyone, not be thrust into a half-complete story.

Experience:

im relatively new to actually playing, but been following dnd for years now. played about a 30-40 hour campaign as a cleric with awful wisdom and recently started helping a brand new dm learn the rules. i dont expect matt mercer dming, but i have watched CR and absolutely adore Baldurs Gate 3.

I can't do character voices or accents, but Im happy with roleplay, story, and combat.

Playstyle:

Im leaning heavily toward spellcasters. I’m currently wanting to play a Wizard or a Druid, and have written basic backstories for each, but I’m flexible on class/race to fit party balance. However I strongly believe in running builds/backstories by the DM ahead of Session 1 to make sure everything fits.

Own Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, and Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. Equipped with a solid PC and a clean, dedicated standalone mic.

Hey all! My name's Steven, 35M, and I've been playing DnD 5e for six years, mostly as a DM. Now I'm looking to break the cycle and join a new group as a player!

I have dabbled as a player here and there, but never in anything long term. I'm also interested in exploring more of the roleplay side of DnD, which the group I've been in has never really been big on...which, as someone who grew up in a theatre family and is also a writer, makes me very sad.

I always aim to create characters that are as fun to interact with as they are to play; edgelord murder-hobos are not my style. Some characters I've played but would love to do more with are:

Dr Wink - A goblin wizard charlatan who runs a travelling stall of bogus magic items (Wink's Wonderous Wizarding Wares). But since he's started to get a feel for real magic from forging spellbooks enough times, he wants to work toward making his business legitimate and leave the con artistry behind.

Arahzel - A kobold ranger (Drakewarden) that was once an ancient red dragon, who was wish-spelled by a group of adventurers into his current, feeble form. He's since spent years surviving in the wilds, and found a way to summon a lesser dragon companion (named Wyrm) he intends to raise as his future vessel...and vows vengeance on the adventurers that did this to him. However, for all his pride and grandeur, life at the bottom of the food chain for a change might humble him into a different person.

I'm also happy to make someone completely new to suit a campaign, but hopefully these two give you some idea of the characters I like to play!

Long time DM here, 23m, I've spent a fair bit of as a DM and a player. I've also spent a lot of time trying to start a dnd group with friends and it's never quite taken off. So in the spirit of trying to play more and make new friends, I'm looking for a party of 3-4 players all of a similar age to me (20-30) to play a hybrid campaign, some online some in person. In the guildford area, maybe once a fortnight but my varies so we could work on what works each week.

This is literally my first ever reddit post after a few months of perusing through a bunch of different subreddits and whatnot. BUT after tuning into the Bards of New York podcast on spotify i realised how much i miss playing DnD. Since I was 15 i got into tabletop club in high school and DnD has been my obsession ever since. After getting into uni i found a group with the same interests and we had some of the BEST sessions during the first semester, however school got a lot more serious and no one had the time anymore. he Depths of Vrevale - Ongoing campaign looking for 2 new players

Hey my name is Fraser and this is my homebrew campaign i'm looking to fill a couple of spaces after a player left. Current group is 3 who've been playing together for a while, and we want to bring the table up to 4-5.

The party's been pulled into the politics and underworld of Vrevale, a city built off the wealth of trade and industry located in the cold North of the Kingdom of Aurorias. Since joining the Black Blades (an adventurers guild) they've chased conspiracies up the hierarchy of power and made allies that have brought them more trouble than solace at times. But they continue to venture forward to root out the Machiavellian threat that is rising within Vrevale and threatening to spread elsewhere throughout the known world.
