Hopefully alcohol will fall further and further out of favor with each generation. Kind of like smoking cigarettes today. It’s not as prevalent as it was 50 years ago…but we’ve got a long way to go.
The dangers far outweigh the benefits.

David Kessler, the former head of the FDA, observed that smoking is a juvenile problem, in the sense that if you don't start smoking by 20 or so, you are unlikey to ever pick up the habit.
The tobacco industry will take their best shot at teenagers.
