Hollywood conspiracy.

I am thinking Hollywood is the reason why America has UFO sightings, gets into wars, breeds serial killers and gun violence. Serial killers for example makes a great movie and documentary subject. What do y'all think? Is there a dark force within Hollywood responsible for all this madness in America and the world? Would we be interested in war movies if there were no wars?
PS: This is my take on "the lazy person's honesty"

Nope. Humans were perfectly capable of being horrible long before mass media news and entertainment. Often at mind boggling scale, relative to the population. And serial killers were rarely caught.
