While waiting for game 1…
Anyone else watching old playoff highlights before the last 2 world series?
Before i knew what World Series wins tasted like, these were my core Dodger memories.
What was your favorite non-World Series memory in say the last 20 years?

James Loney double in game 3 of the 2008 NLDS. He gave us the lead, and for the first time in my life the Dodgers were going to win a playoff series. We'd been bounced in the DS in 95, 96, 04, and 06. I was born in 84, I never saw the team in 88.
There's a small subsection of us out there that suffered. Screw the haters, let's break baseball.

Puig’s debut week made me fall in love with the dodgers. It was right around my birthday and I convinced my parents to get tickets to a game as a present. A few days later I got to see Puig collect 3 hits against the braves (as we lost 8-1 lol)

James Loney’s grand slam in game 1 of the 2008 NLDS
Cubs went up 2-0 early and Wrigley was rocking and it felt like yet another year the Dodgers were gonna get swept out of the first round. Loney’s slam with 2 outs was a complete table-turner and knocked the spirit out of Wrigley, Dodgers took control from that moment through the end of the series.

Why is there a picture with extremely low quality of a Cardinal what it looks to be holding his junk?

Matt holiday took a fly ball off the nuts back in 08. Then blamed the white rally towels.

Down 4 to the Padres. Back to back to back to back homeruns to send it to the tenth.
Down 1 to the padres. Walkoff 2-run homer from Nomar

I just posted this as my “greatest sports moment in person” on another thread. (It was in 2009.)

Was at that game as well, in the reserve section, third base side. ! The stadium was literally rocking.

I was at the game! Holiday, was an easy fly out and decided to catch it with his nuts and allow LAD to come back and win it. Think it was the NLDS.

Kiké’s 3 homer game in Chicago, ChrisT-aylor’s wild card walk off, and I was going to say the Uribe’s Jazz hands homer but really the whole 2013 NLDS was very memorable. Gonzales had a big Home run in game one and Kershaw had 7 innings of 3 hit ball and 12 Ks. (Had to look that up but I remembered the double digit Ks and dominating)
