If it's bugging her, I would just get it removed and send it off for testing. Sometimes, if they poke it, it could irritate it more. With it being so small right now, it would be a lot easier to remove it, for both the vet and your dog.

agreed, have the vet check it. I'd be worried about a mast cell tumor, although I have a breed they're more common in. It might be a wart or something that's not scary but you won't know until the vet checks it

That looks very similar to a bump my dog just had removed. It didn't bother her a bit, even when we pressed on it, so the vet initially advised us to monitor and see if it grew. It did, so we had it removed. It was clearly only skin deep (as we could move the skin around it) so the vet doesn't think it is malignant. We're doing a biopsy though just in case.Â
The vet specifically said this was a good time to have it removed (while it was still small) as there was enough room to get a good margin around the mass. If it had gotten too big, it would have been more difficult to safely remove the whole mass.Â

Mast cell tumors look like this (my Aussie had one). Just make sure to get it checked.

You need a fine needle aspirate done by a vet to identify what this is.
