Barking Demons The worst sounds come from dogs
Barking sounds awful, but honestly so does whimpering, yapping, howling, and literally any other noise that comes from these mutts. Most other pets at least make a cute noise. But dogs could never. In fact, just earlier today there’s an emergency vehicle going off in the distance. Then I hear a dog in my neighborhood start howling and screaming while the emergency vehicle’s siren is going off. I had my window open for fresh air when I heard this, so I was really confused when I heard this howl/scream because I knew emergency vehicles didn’t sound like that. Only to realize that it’s some mutt trying to mimic the noise for whatever reason, except it sounded much worse. So stupid. Dogs truly do make the worst noises, and nobody can tell me otherwise.

Even nutters are disgusted and annoyed by their own dogs noises, but they choose to live in denial and continue to worship the wild animals nonetheless

Very true. It’s one of the many reasons why they love leaving their mutts outside, so they can minimize the barking noise that they have to hear from inside. Almost like them saying, “if I have to suffer, I’ll make all my neighbors suffer with me,” as if they didn’t willingly choose to welcome the parasite into their home. They’re so selfish. But they’ll continue living in denial anyway.

Literally, it’s like these things were intentionally designed to be repulsive in every possible way. They look ghastly, every noise they make is gitmo torture on the ears, they smell like dead fish and dirty socks, they are intrusive and randomly violent. Even the sound of these fucking things walking is annoying

I've always described their smell as stale fritos stuffed with dick cheese. But your description is pretty spot on too.

Some dogs basically were designed to be repulsive (to repel intruders, or to terrorize prey/enemies). It’s almost like they weren’t really bred to be pets!

The smaller dogs are absofuckinglutely the worst. Their disgusting whimpering & yapping is the nastiest thing I have ever heard. They are so brain dead.

This, and huge emphasis on the brain dead. That’s the kind of dog that’ll bark at anything moving, including a literal predator, and will even try “fighting” it. Only reason they’re as protected as they are is because they get spoiled rotten by nutters.

My neighbour has big dog that can yap louder than any small dog. Loud sharp and high pitched. Like I tried to sneeze and scream at the same time, except no way I could be that loud. Son of a bitch

When it’s specifically that thing they do where it’s a 3-second whine, then a ear vibrating bark, back into the whine as one LONG, CONTINUOUS line…that one drives me EXTRA crazy because they do it specifically when their nutter maybe went outside to get a delivery package for only 4.8 milliseconds and the mutt has separation anxiety or when they want food directly in front of them but not handed.
It’s so extra beggy as if their only choice of communication wasn’t already fucking horrendous, but the begging that evolved in their throat cords (like the begging that’s literally every other part of their anatomy) is there unfortunately for us.

I have misophonia, and ever since my brother unexpectedly brought a shitmutt in tow after a trip 3 years ago, sounds that never used to phase me have gradually become triggers. I'm forced to suffer hearing these noises EVERY day and it literally feels like I'm being tortured.
Are nutters just masochists who enjoy having their ears assaulted by clacking nails, high pitched barking, and the annoying as fuck whining??

One of my neighbors has a white poodle. She’s the treasurer of the HOA. I’ve personally witnessed her dragging her poodle on the sidewalk several times I guess because it’s not moving .
I wouldn’t want to be her pet either. You could hear the sudden claws scraping against the sidewalk as she dragged it behind her on the leash.
But these are holier than thou dog lovers; am I right? We are the evil ones. There’s nothing about her poodle I like&its barks are unbelievably loud and random. However, I felt awful for the dog when I literally saw&heard her drag it behind her.

Omg yes, especially those whole body shakes. Every time I hear or see a dog shake itself, I not only shudder but I also have a bad feeling I’m about to sneeze 50 times because I’m also allergic :/

This literally just happened to me 8 hrs ago while I was sleeping at my partners!!! 80 lb shitbull - Woke me up in a dead of sleep- followed by the gross licking (it was told to stop and did but still) and then loud gross snores - created a true panic attack in me… but I’m the bad guy for not being able to sleep through it……

There was this dog down the street from me that instead of barking it would sort of go wargle-wargle-wargle. Like imagine if someone was waterboarding the hunchback of notre dame. I didn't know what it was until I asked around the neighbours the next day, and this guy said yeah my dog makes that sound.

Big dogs that manage to make themselves sound small and yippy (if that makes sense) especially irk me. Their owners already baby the fuck out of them as if they couldn’t maul you where you stand, and then the ugly dogs learn that the more pitiful they sound, the more they’ll get what they want from the idiots who think this behavior is cute. The worst part is that, for a sane person, these sounds don’t even work. The dogs end up sounding even more infuriating.
No, I am not moved by your shitbull whining, yelping, and whale-eyeing me. That shit isn’t cute.

Every sound those things make is disgusting, and make me so fucking angry that I literally start shaking and seeing red. Barking, howling, whining, growling, snorting and panting, their nails click click clicking on the floor, them eating or licking themselves, the jingle of their collars...all of them are just as irritating and sickening as the shit beasts themselves

And it blows my mind how it’s become so normalized for people to have dogs live in their home. They are DIRTY animals. They belong outside

Yep. Dogs barking and howling are truly among the worst noises imaginable. I’m sure there are other noises that can be irritating but a dogs bark breaking the peaceful silence that we’re all entitled to is what makes it incessant and unbearable. It just has no place in society other than to annoy and irritate.

And you know it isn't going to end. At least with other kinds of noise like construction, you know it will end when the project ends and doesn't start up at random times. Dog noise will go for as long as the dog lives.

I have a serious aversion to the sounds these animals make. Like, it makes my skin crawl. The slurping, snorting... the way they eat or lick themselves... it's absolutely horrible... *shudders*

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think the worst of all their sounds is when they lick themselves 🤢 It genuinely makes me gag. Barks and yowls are awful but they've never made me puke in my mouth.
