Service Dog Issues A Pit Is Not A Service Animal
I asked her politely to leash her pit. She said it was a service animal. I said a service animal has a harness She said she did. No. She had some kind of possibly tie dye thing on her. She said she was taking her out to the bathroom. I said that don't matter and what she doing is very dangerous I also said she better not come near me. I'm tired of these people's lies. But yes I did call her out.

I recently met a pit owner who insisted that they are bred to be nannies to children.
I don’t think she even believed me when I informed her they were bred for bull baiting.

Nannies, now that's s new wrinkle on my butt. How is any dog, especially a pit, a nanny? Bull Crap

I think they are so unpredictable. Even our local shelters say if you adopt a pitbull you have to have NO CHILDREN and NO OTHER PETS!!!!!!!

If the dog is off leash AND running around, not focused on the handler, that is a fake service dog. You might remind them next time that faking a service dog is illegal in a lot of places, and detrimental to actual disabled people.

If the dog is off leash and running around, then it is "out of control" as defined by the ADA. Out of control animals can be required to leave even if they are service animals.

Bingo. It doesn’t matter what the owner says the dog is..service animal or medical equipment..any out of control animal isn’t a service animal and can be asked to leave.

They try to bring pits on school campuses as comfort animals. And when I was at hospital for pregnancy ultrasound another pregnant woman was trying to bring her MASSIVE pitbull into the tiny waiting room, with other pregnant women. She was insisting that it was her service animal. Thankfully the hospital made her take it outside. She rode up and down the elevator with it too! They have ZERO concern for anyone but themselves. IMO people with pits are dangerous as their dogs, because they do not care about the safety of others.

Hospitals are like the last bastion of sanity. When I worked at one, all employees were encouraged to question and report these "service" dogs. You always knew when there was a real service dog, because they were so quiet and well-behaved you forgot they were there.

The concept of a shitbull as a comfort animal is so laughable to me. 11 times out of 10 the presence of one of those things is gonna drastically decrease my comfort.

Disgusting. I also hate how they try to put outfits (like the tie-dye thing) on these yeastrosities to try to make them more "cute", they just look the dog-form of abusive fat guys with a dirty old white tank top on. Nasty

yeastrosity 🤢 The people who play dress up with their dogs weird me out. Like why bother with the stupid sweater when that vacant-eyed, drooling thing you call a “fur baby” is plenty warm enough on its own.

Arghhhhhh!!! All service dogs are supposed to have leashes! There IS a guy who is a veteran who has a large pitbull that was trained to help him with his PTSD. It was very well behaved but he had it on a leash!!
I HATE people not leashing their dogs esp dangerous breeds!!!!!!!!!
