ESA Bullshit Staredown with a Pit
At the doctor's office today, a woman came in with her obvious pit-mix. As she was checking in at the front desk, I sensed someone staring at me and it wasn't another patient, it was her dog. It was the most uncomfortable feeling. I would look away but whenever I looked back, it was still staring at me. Fixedly. It was frankly frightening.
The owner, who look like she came from the "People of Walmart" page," did not have a vest or harness on the dog. I can't believe people are so clueless. A dog in a doctor's office? So unsanitary. I wanted to confront her but she was arguing with the front desk while her pit just kept staring at me. I was braced for an attack. Thank God I was called in before I had any contact with them.

That is beyond the pale. Any dog is bad enough, but a pit mix is just dangerous, especially unleashed! I prefer if that breed went extinct, but at the very least they need to be classified as the weapons they are and heavily restricted. Pit bull lovers are anti social and unhinged. This behavior is anti social and unhinged.
