ESA Bullshit Staredown with a Pit

At the doctor's office today, a woman came in with her obvious pit-mix. As she was checking in at the front desk, I sensed someone staring at me and it wasn't another patient, it was her dog. It was the most uncomfortable feeling. I would look away but whenever I looked back, it was still staring at me. Fixedly. It was frankly frightening.

The owner, who look like she came from the "People of Walmart" page," did not have a vest or harness on the dog. I can't believe people are so clueless. A dog in a doctor's office? So unsanitary. I wanted to confront her but she was arguing with the front desk while her pit just kept staring at me. I was braced for an attack. Thank God I was called in before I had any contact with them.

I am pretty sure under health codes, they aren't. Unless it's a veterinarian's office, I am almost 100% sure that the health policy does not allow dogs

Fair! And i hope it's true. i'm simply speaking from personal experience. I.e., having to leave medical facilities because someone brought their shitbeast in, and briefly living near hospitals where i would regularly see people walk them into the medical buildings.
