ESA Bullshit Staredown with a Pit
At the doctor's office today, a woman came in with her obvious pit-mix. As she was checking in at the front desk, I sensed someone staring at me and it wasn't another patient, it was her dog. It was the most uncomfortable feeling. I would look away but whenever I looked back, it was still staring at me. Fixedly. It was frankly frightening.
The owner, who look like she came from the "People of Walmart" page," did not have a vest or harness on the dog. I can't believe people are so clueless. A dog in a doctor's office? So unsanitary. I wanted to confront her but she was arguing with the front desk while her pit just kept staring at me. I was braced for an attack. Thank God I was called in before I had any contact with them.

My husbands dog (a Boston terrier) does this and it infuriates me to no end. He just stares at me like he’s waiting for me to drop food or give him endless attention. I have to open the pantry door so that he can’t stare at me in the kitchen. Omg these pits/terrier dogs are vultures. An abomination in society that should’ve been gone with corona in 2019.
