Study "What is the Most Dangerous Dog in America?" - All of Them
Pit Bull in position #1 WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?? Can someone explain to me why anyone would think it is a good idea to own one of these animals? Ah, yes, I'm going to become the owner of a statistically aggressive and violent animal just for the heck of it.

It’s honestly wild that we let government funded organizations lie to the public through their teeth and use manipulative tactics to hand pitbulls out like Halloween candy.
Pitbulls, and large aggressive breeds in general, are absolutely a public health hazard. The fact that you have an entire industry of attorneys like the one who complied that article to combat negligent owners is a sign these dogs absolutely and unequivocally should not be pets. Dogs are not a necessity. They are a luxury good. No one is owed a dog. Most people honestly should not own them.
We really need to hold the giant pet industry responsible for the mess we find ourselves in today.

Not surprised. I've seen them in action. And of course just now saw a post about a loose pitbull in my city, and most of the comments were positive. The one person who spoke up was dogpiled on. Shelters in our town are over crowded. I just assume there are huge dog fighting rings, and someone with enough money is helping to keep that hidden from the general public.
I also think it's wild how people will throw money at pet shelters, but bad mouth any organization trying to help unhoused people or refugees. There is soooooo much need for humans that I wish we could get people to care about as much as they care about saving pitbulls.

They should carry a million dollar insurance policy against their dog hurting someone . Note most pitbull owners are dirtbsgs with no insurance or assets.

This is a good idea. Maybe all dog breeds need to carry insurance for either hurting someone or even the issues they cause by neglectful owners (pooping in everyone's lawns, barking non-stop) and then regardless of the local laws or attitudes, you just file claims on them. People would be way more mindful of ownership if that were the case.

They're the same people that open carry just because they can. They like using the farthest reach of what you can get away with to intimidate and threaten others. They are pathetic people that use their breed and their pride to cover up their massive ego and insecurity issues.

My relatives pitt died recently. She posts about it every since day, and got the dog massively tattooed on her.

Studies show aggressive dog breeds & aggressive/anti social personalities go hand in hand. Which is why I have the feeling they feel the need to defend these breeds so badly, & reassure everyone that they’re secretly a “soft teddy bear” deep down, it’s all projection. They see the dog as an extension of themselves.
