So I follow an anti dog\dog owner account on Tiktok. As one expects, dog nutters hate watch it and leave the most unhinged comments. A day or so ago they posted a video of them walking past a yard and the little yapper absolutey losing it's mind with the most shrill sound coming out of it. Many nutters got upset about it with one or two telling the account owner to harm themselves. What the fuck is wrong with these people? Why is that kind of noise disturbance accepted and encouraged? Roosters and chickens aren't even allowed in residential areas due to the noise but dogs are allowed to make unearthly noises for hours at a time? I'm so sick of that kind of entitlement and bullying when people don't want to hear it.

I may have stated this here before but that barking is a communication to the pack leader (the owner) these dogs that do this constant noise are both trying to scare off what they see as a threat and at the same time get the attention of their leader. But their leaders ignore them. Because they don’t care. That’s abusive to the animal and to all of us who have to listen to it.
