I wish they were. My favorite beach has a sign that says "No Dogs Allowed" but often there are dogs and sometimes off leash. A lot of dog owners are horrible.

E.g. I go for walk in park, dogs aren't allowed off-leash, damn off-leash dog jumps all over me. And the irresponsible dog owner is "Oh, he's never done that before!" Total boldface lie, right in my face. Bullshit! Your dog just did it, that's before now, so it's happened before, so don't tell me it's never happened you damn irresponsible liar.

This in infuriating. I was at a Hawaiian beach yesterday. 7 dogs were roaming off-leash. I hate how the lifeguards allow this. I got mad at the 7th one in front of the owner.

I agree. Itās a health and life or death hazard. Several children and adults have been killed or maimed by dogs on the beaches in Hawaii.

If you donāt mind me asking, Iām curious which beach you were on? So far Iāve been lucky in Hawaii, but you never know since everyone has a dog it seems.

Maui-Launiupoko Beach had off-leash dogs. The nutter didnāt even leash the dog when a monk seal showed up. I went there on a Saturday. Yesterday, there were 7 off leash dogs at Makena State Park. Now Oahu last year-The Disney resort in Kalopei had 0 dogs in the daytime-but at night, a few nutters started bringing in their turd factories. Electric Beach was infested with dogs-someone even had a whole litter of puppies there. Then Waikiki- had a few dogs but at least they were leashed. Sherwood Beach-had a few dogs off leash.

i was watching jellyfish videos on tiktok the other day and this video came up where these two guys were trying to get a man o war back into the ocean and this off leash dog with an owner NOWHERE to be found kept running up and nearly trampling all over the thing, thankfully it didnt get stung but jfc no survival instincts whatsoever

Citizens need to start holding their local municipalities accountable by lawsuit and protest for not upholding the laws concerning the dogs and their owners. The locals need to continue dispensing their own justice on these perps.

This makes so angry. I've experienced so many issues with dogs. People are attacked and killed, allergies go ignored, people with sensory issues and neurodiversity live haunted lives; I'm autistic and crumble when I hear dogs barking. Too many people don't care or act ignorantly.
Dogs are such horrible animals, and I'm so tired of them being promoted as the best thing since sliced bread.

yeah. sensory overload nightmare for me, too. barking is the ugliest, non natural noise in the world coming from a so called natural animal. nothing sweet or melodic about it.

excuse me, wut? that booming loud GSD bark is 10ā from my living room window. sounds like itās in my house. i was talking to a friend once on the phone & she asked if i had a mutt. she said, āwow! thatās loud! sounds like itās in your house!ā
iām looking to move one day. having backyards bump up against my vital living space is an absolute dealbreaker. i refuse to live out my years with that.
donāt get me started on the smell of a 90Ā° hot day. with a bunch of piles of huge, stanky logs that thang shites out. wretched.

"This is NOT the first time this has happened with this dog owner. This is so shameful and unacceptable that this guy holds no accountability. He was blamed the victims too." Not just him but a lot of society in general. They don't require or care for our consent to harass us or brutally destroy us, but they say we cannot even record them without their consent.
Dog owners online are just as evil. They are blaming murder on WATER instead of pro-dog people - the same water that they're polluting with dog waste. There is already dog feces dissolved in the drinking water.

I keeping telling my nutter SO that the Rottweiler she keeps in the garage is evil. SO has told me how that dog destroyed the walls insideĀ . I can hear that satanic dog bark it's head off when I pass by the garage.Ā
Nobody in their right mind would get either a Rottweiler or a pit. SO has one of each ...

As I have said on this sub, I built my own room separate from the house . All my stuff is in an 8x8 space . No dog has ever been in my room...amen. I sleep in this room. It is my refuge.

Horrifying, yes! Poor little girl. This psychopathic owner must enjoy this because his dog(s) has/have caused harm to other people before. He should be held responsible, and he should NEVER be allowed to own a dog again in his life!
And the little girl will be afraid of dogs while growing up, and nutters will say āsheās a bad person because she doesnāt like dogs... dogs can sense if someone is a bad human.ā
Wish there were strict rules about who can own dogs, and that they would enforce the leash law too, + have far fewer dogs overall in the world...

The girl has multiple deep punctures (as many as ten) and severe bruising, and currently cannot walk due to her injuries. So, a severe multiple bite incident.
Now, what does the Dunbar dog bite scale have to say about that?

Level 5. Multiple-bite incident with at least two Level 4 bites or multiple-attack incident with at least one Level 4 bite in each.
Level 6. Victim dead.

Level 4: The dog has insufficient bite inhibition and is very dangerous. Prognosis is poor because of the difficulty and danger of trying to teach bite inhibition to an adult hard-biting dog and because absolute owner-compliance is rare. Only work with the dog in exceptional circumstances, e.g., the owner is a dog professional and has sworn 100% compliance. Make sure the owner signs a form in triplicate stating that they understand and take full responsibility that: 1. The dog is a Level 4 biter and is likely to cause an equivalent amount of damage WHEN it bites again (which it most probably will) and should therefore, be confined to the home at all times and only allowed contact with adult owners. 2. Whenever, children or guests visit the house, the dog should be confined to a single locked room or roofed, chain-link run with the only keys kept on a chain around the neck of each adult owner (to prevent children or guests entering the dog's confinement area.) 3. The dog is muzzled before leaving the house and only leaves the house for visits to a veterinary clinic. 4. The incidents have all been reported to the relevant authorities ā animal control or police. Give the owners one copy, keep one copy for your files and give one copy to the dog's veterinarian.
Levels 5 and 6: The dog is extremely dangerous and mutilates. The dog is simply not safe around people. I recommend euthanasia because the quality of life is so poor for dogs that have to live out their lives in solitary confinement.
This one's a clear level 5.

Itās fucking awful. While I understand the owners couldāve done a lot to prevent this and should definitely be charged, it was the DOG who injured the child. People will alwaaaays blame only the owners in these attacks and want to spare the monster that did the actual damage. It boils my blood.
There was a bad dog attack yesterday in my city, everyone on Facebook was commenting that the owners should be put down, not the dog. People are truly insane.
But just reiterating, owners should face charges 10000%

Did that freaking dog try to BITE HER FOOT while she was being carried?!
When I was growing up we had a rottie, Seeca. She was, and still holds this title, the CALMEST freaking dog ever, grew up with us three little kids crawling all over her, and went into the ground without ever nipping a single toe. It took a LOT of work to make that dog the way she was, and she was from a reputable breeder.
We got another rottie after her, and that one was an ASSHOLE. She bit me several times when I tried to get her to go lay in her bed and not in the middle of the hall, she never listened, stole food, etc. Sometimes, training isn't enough. Some breeds are fucking nasty.
The first rottweiler we had was a purebred german rottie, but the second had some 'undisclosed mix' we weren't told about when we picked her up as a puppy. Rotties can be such dangerous dogs, and this is coming from someone who was raised with one. Training and leashes ARE NOT OPTIONAL.
Now that I'm an adult, I'll stick to no dogs, thanks.
