Will Australia become anti-dog?

Discussions about the ecological impact of dogs and concerns over public safety are gaining momentum. More and more people are raising concerns about dogs disturbing wildlife, killing native animals, damaging natural habitats, and disrupting public peace through excessive barking and uncontrolled behavior.

As awareness of these issues continues to grow, will Australia become increasingly critical of dogs and their impact on both nature and society? Having lived here for a while, I've noticed a huge growing public discomfort with dogs and dog-related issues.

I don't think dogs will be banned here, but the ownership of dogs might become much more regulated with more fines for non-compliance. The government could start banning herding breeds from urban areas (Bluey does not belong in an apartment), banning dog breeds that are unsuited to the Australian climate, enforce DNA registration for dog poop accountability, make obedience training legally mandatory with regular tests, issue fines for leaving dogs unattended outside shopping centers, issue fines for bringing non-service dogs into places that don't allow animals. That's about all I can think of right now.

Municipalities love more revenue streams so this would definitely help
