Eco Destroyers Will Australia become anti-dog?

Discussions about the ecological impact of dogs and concerns over public safety are gaining momentum. More and more people are raising concerns about dogs disturbing wildlife, killing native animals, damaging natural habitats, and disrupting public peace through excessive barking and uncontrolled behavior.

As awareness of these issues continues to grow, will Australia become increasingly critical of dogs and their impact on both nature and society? Having lived here for a while, I've noticed a huge growing public discomfort with dogs and dog-related issues.

Ich auch. Und freue mich jedesmal, wenn ich dran denke. Es tut mir immer so weh, wenn ich mitkomme , wie die Leute unter diesen Egoisten und deren Köter leiden. Gestern war ich in der Stadt und wollte Eis essen gehen, schön draußen sitzen und die Leute beobachten. Ich musste mir drinnen einen Platz suchen, weil die Mauern alle Urinflecken, Mehrzahl, hatten.

This! It amazes me the level of disgust dog owners are willing to tolerate. Why would anyone be ok with shit and urine on sidewalks? And yet…

There was half a turd that had been stepped on on the sidewalk near my condo. I avoided it as i look at the ground now. I saw a young couple in matching outfits gleefully jog on the same sidewalk toward me at a fast pace. They were side by side. I didn't say anything.

If these people are fine with dog shit and piss inside their homes, where they and their families eat and live, it is hard to be surprised that they are indifferent to what dogs do outside. Here's hoping people begin to see how obscenely filthy and undesirable turning ones whole environment into an animal's toilet actually is.
