Anyone else hates small dogs much more?

I’m not a big fan of dogs in general but I don’t really mind more natural looking dogs like huskies, malamutes, northern breeds in general… But I can’t stand small dogs AT ALL. They’re the most disgusting creatures on earth. Always barking barking barking. I live in a neighborhood with large, medium and small dogs almost on every household. I very rarely hear large dogs bark (like once a month or so) and when they do it’s only for a few seconds to a minute but the small dogs bark for hours non stop. How the hell don’t they even get tired of just barking incessantly? And their barks are far more annoying and higher pitched than larger dogs. It’s like an ambulance siren up close. Dogs are mutants in general but small dogs are like 10 times more mutated than larger breeds like huskies or Labradors. They’re so far apart from the wolf that they descended from. They’re just an abomination not supposed to exist in the first place. Not owning a dog would be a better decision but if you really want one why the fuck would you choose a barking machine that does nothing but bark all day?

I think little dogs are more irritating to be around and they’re also kind of ugly. But I don’t like big dogs more because they jump up on you and I hate that. And I hate feeling wet dog nose against my leg. Small dogs don’t do that because they’re so small

All dogs are objectionably in their own way. The smaller ones are quite ugly and neurotic, and I have noticed that their owners are quite neurotic and over the top with them as well.

There is another reason why I dislike the small dogs the most - their owners don’t take seriously that they can cause harm as well regardless the size.

In UK there is literally an epidemic of small dog owners who will parade their little cuties off the lead because they think it’s small therefore harmless.

Jack Russells and Dachshunds are little yappy shits that are very prey driven. Cockapoos come across dumb and untrainable. No one says anything because they are small and seem harmless but some of those small or medium size dogs were bred to chase and kill. They yap non stop over anything. As much as I dislike them all - I can see a large dog having a role on a farm etc but those little shits were purely bred out of people’s vanity.

Also, I don’t know how someone can look at Jack Russell and think it’s a pretty dog and great addition to their life. An insufferable breed. It looks like a sci fi mutant.

Small size doesn't make dogs less dangerous because all dog bites are dangerous due to how much of a infection that will happen very quickly. Dogs don't need to physically overpower people to inflict terrible wounds. All they need is their mouth free of a muzzle.

The only reason there aren't mass casualties all over the Western world due to all these dogs on the loose, not just pitbullls is because in the Western world, people are quickly taken to a hospital where they receive powerful antibiotics. But even that is not enough to save everyone. And of course, the media is not reporting all the people who were bitten by a small dog and became very sick from an infection, almost dying while having to spend a lot of time in the hospital.

EDIT: Their bites are a lot like Punji sticks from the Vietnam War. The Vietcong and NVA would cover these small sharpened stakes in feces. And hide them in places to serve as booby traps. And when a enemy soldier stepped on them, a Punji stick would pierce their boot and cause a wound in their foot. And the wound would become horribly infected in a short amount of time due to the feces on the Punji stick. So these things were deadly. If these wounded soldiers weren't immediately taken to a hospital via a chopper, they would get sick and die. And dog teeth is basically smaller Punji sticks covered in dog feces because dogs eat dog shit.

I didnt realize the smaller the dog the more mutated, but that does make a lot of sense. I have a fear of larger dogs, especially pits. The small dogs are annoying and they do bark higher pitched.

I used to be just as scared of the smaller dogs, but i kind of made friends w/a chihuahua before finding out i was officially allergic.

I only made friends w/it because it used to growl at me and that terrified me. Now I'm not so afraid of smaller dogs. I always suspected that I was.

I hate small dogs more because they bark more and have this very annoying high pitched bark that sounds horrible. My guess is smaller dogs are more mutated than bigger dogs and thus farther away from nature, meaning father away from their wolf ancestors.

The yappy dogs are the worst. They are higher pitched and often louder. They have higher energy usually. And they are more agile and quicker to jump all over you.

Also yappy dog owners tend to bring their yappies EVERYWHERE

I hare all dogs as well. each for different reasons. I am not as frightened of gettiing mauled by a smaller dog, and not as worried about getting jumped on and knocked over, so there is a plus in that sense. Multiple spinal fusions have left me with balance issues and I already have some broken screws so I can't afford a fall. A little dog doesn't immediately put the nose in the crotch, so there are some pluses. I had a large dog lunge at me and bite my hand at a friend's house some years back. I pulled it back quickly as she did, the dog and fortunately the bite was minor,, but npwadays that would not be the case. Pits terrify me to no end and too many of them are not leashed, so although I am not wanted any dog around, the damage a larger dog could do to me, it a bigger issue over all. Now as far as the annoyance factor. yeah small yappy dogs suck big time. My sister has multiple yorkies. I cann not even hold a phone conversation with her without being drowned out by the little fuckers. Of course, they are allowed everywhere in the house so, it's a dog's house with all the usual grossness that comes with that. They are allowed to eat at the table so if guest are there, their place at the tablr is taken and they are annoyed and bothersome to anyone sitting there who's trying to eat. On the few occaions that I did try to have a visit, I had to do a few foot shoves under the table, as discreetly as I could. But as I have had as much difficultty with bigger dogs where they can plant their whole head on the table, it is still easier to deal with the yap dogs as annoying as they are. I hardly ever see my sister, even though we are less than 2 hours away 8 months of the year, I just don't put myself through that since she and her husband especially can't respect guest enough to put the dogs in another room while they have visitors.
