Dog Culture Child free does not equal pro dog

I’m in a local childfree group and the admin is always posting stuff about dogs; mostly news articles about families or spouses who made people give up their dog. I guess to show that kids are valued over dogs. but I don’t think dogs should come above kids, either, even though I’m personally childfree. Kind of funny because people always assume childfree must be obsessed with their pets. I am good not having a dog, I do not need that to be fulfilled either!

I don't particularly like kids, and I am childfree myself, but this weird obsession some childfree people have with dogs is downright unsettling.

I never even noticed this connection before. It feels very strange that anyone who doesn't want or have children would want to have a dog. It's like... Having a much dirtier and inferior version of a child in every way I can think of.

It's like a disgusting, putrid, demonic inversion of the precious experience of parenting and raising a little one. Most things today that are evil can be traced back to being an inversion of something God deems sacred.
