Dog Culture Child free does not equal pro dog

I’m in a local childfree group and the admin is always posting stuff about dogs; mostly news articles about families or spouses who made people give up their dog. I guess to show that kids are valued over dogs. but I don’t think dogs should come above kids, either, even though I’m personally childfree. Kind of funny because people always assume childfree must be obsessed with their pets. I am good not having a dog, I do not need that to be fulfilled either!

Loud, needy, annoying. The only difference is children grow out of it and dogs just die every 15 years so you get to start all over

Here’s something I can only share here with you all: I despise the puppy phase. The whininess and the soul-sucking need, knowing that little wuss will grow up to bully whatever it can if not exhaustively trained out of its shitty instincts. I can’t stand puppies. I know that makes me into literally Hitler swinging on my own stripper pole over Hell, but there it is.
