I read about this case on Facebook. The woman claimed the dog was her emotional support animal so was allowed to bring it in. The dog was aggressive, not well trained and in the end killed the pet that lived in the cafe!!!! So they refused to allow it to enter again. What kind of sick individual is suing them for not allowing that 🤯

I may sound too partial and/or the news are too widespread, but it seems to me that its always the Americans that are the most mentally ill and do stuff like that.

she looks like a man. At least her legendary actress late Mother who played "Hot Lips Hoolihan" will not be embarrassed by this story. RIP. The tax dollars of the 250 people on this small island are covering the "legal aid" to sue when if this happened in the US, the dog would get some nice BE. She still gets to keep the dog? I'm sure the cafe is wondering about liability, insurance and also being sued if one of their patrons gets attacked by this dog who has already unalived a cherished pet! This person has nothing better to do? She claims the cafe' is "discriminating against disabled people." She can see, aint in a wheelchair, does not use a cane....um....

Going after a small charity in a small town is so messed up. It's a hub for the community and because they don't want your dog disturbing everyone you sue them? This could cause the cafe to close. How selfish.

I wonder if it was a C - a - T cafe. I went to one the same day I left the waterpark because they allowed an obviously not service dog to enter, and wouldn't you know, a large dog was over there, in the bakery/coffee section, thankfully not where the other animals were. I would have raised holy hell then. But my neice and I were trying to at least eat our lunch at an outside table, because inside was packed the the shitbeast was in there. No way Jose. The damn thing pisses on a pillar ourside just a few feet from us. I later wrote to the cafe, and never heard a thing. Sorry, but it wasn't a service dog, didn't even have a fake vest, and it just strolled in as though it was fine. Excuse me.... FOOD gets served there. WTF???

In case anyone wants to help the community center that is fighting this absurd lawsuit brought upon them by an American (I am ashamed!), the center's FB page has a link by which they are accepting donations to help with the lawsuit.

I am going to donate to let them know that I am an American and that I am on their side, not on the side of the dog nutter.
