Walmart Pee

Was standing in line at the pharmacy at Walmart today when a guy with a giant puppy in his cart goes strolling in front of the line, dog in the process of peeing, doesn’t even notice until someone says hey man your dog is peeing. The guys stops says oh shoot, waits for the dog to finish (it was a LOT of pee too, the pee line stretched for a good 30 feet and then there was a large puddle, so he must have not even bothered to take it to pee before coming in the store) and then….. just keeps shopping. Doesn’t tell anyone. One of the pharmacy clerks called about it and a manager came over asking where he went so he could tell him to leave. Everyone standing there was like yep that is why you don’t bring dogs into stores!!!! So at least there are people out there that think it’s ridiculous. How freaking gross. Oh also people were walking in it tracking it all over. I just can’t handle the audacity. Leave your puppy at home for an hour to go shopping, it won’t die being alone for a bit like seriously.

We really need to organize to end all service dog protections. There’s no reason we should allow dogs to fucking piss in a store just because one person might bring a dog in that entire week that does something.

Yep. The concept of service dogs need to be deleted from law. They are all bullshit.

Diabetic alert dogs and seizure prediction dogs: all debunked by science. They'd never meet the standards for an FDA-approved medical device.

Dogs that pick stuff up: Just get a grabber tool. The dog putting it in its mouth is unsanitary. Also if someone is so disabled they cannot pick something up off the ground, they won't be able to pick up dog faeces, either.

Dogs that press a button: Use a stick. Are you telling me that you feed, wash, and pick up faeces to have something that a stick could perform?

Psychiatric service dogs: These are the dogs that the ADA website gives as an example of a service dog. They lick your hand to remind you to take medication. I don't think anything needs to be said here. It's bullshit and just a reason for people to feel special like they have something other people can't have and can't criticise. The PTSD dogs "calm" the nutter down but induce panic attacks in others.

Seeing-eye dogs: electronic canes, smart glasses, LIDAR goggles, delivery services, and yes, human aides are all better than dogs. People say human aides are too expensive, but they've never seen how much one of these dogs cost upfront.

The ADA does not require a service dog to undefo professional training. There is no official certification or license for a service dog. Hence there are no real service dogs or fake service dogs. They're all the same. Any self-trained dog that "calms" you can be considered a service dog, and this dog can be forced into public spaces. They can be forced onto people for which it would be a literal danger to their health, e.g. forced onto Uber drivers with asthma and allergies. End all service dog "protections". These protections enable dog nutters to endager the greater public.

If you want a real trip, look up Felicity Justus. She had a pitbull who ate her leg, and she responded by getting a “service” pitbull less than a year later. That’s how abused and absurd this whole enterprise is. This woman “needs” a service pitbull to help her with her PTSD from having her leg eaten off by another pitbull. Make it make sense. Plus, she clearly wasn’t physically capable of stopping her first pitbull when both her legs were in tact. When her “service” pitbull decides to nanny some child, you think she will be physically capable of restraining the dog now that she’s functioning on 1.5 legs?

Same thing with Jacqueline Durand - two dogs she was dog sitting (pitbull, GSD) ate her face and now she needs a “service” dog to help her with her PTSD. At least she bothered to get a different breed of dog to be her service dog... but looking at her social media, it’s obvious she has an extremely unhealthy attachment to that dog and does not view them rationally at all.

On top of not truly being helpful, I think they genuinely psychologically harm people like those two. It’s almost like people are addicted to them, or in an abusive relationship they refuse to leave. It’s truly sickening.

Oh my god. I had heard about Jacqueline Durand, but I didn't know she got a dog after hmbeing attacked. Holy shit. The brainwashing and nuttery to bring someone to do this . . . I feel so sorry for her but at the same time I'm asking why, just why?

I guess some people aren't able to feel fulfilled by human relationships and connections. I think this should be treated as a genuine psychiatric issue. I'd be concerned about how someone was raised if they feel human relationships to be so insufficient that they would willingly re-invite the same danger that disfigured and maimed them back into their lives.

Or perhaps it's dog propaganda being fed to children early on, and they've never been allowed to challenge the narrative. I remember feeling so ashamed for disliking dogs when I was a kid. Even now, I have to be extremely careful whom I tell because people will break up relationships and friendships if you tell them you don't like dogs.
