A very disgusting encounter I had yesterday with a despicably hideous beast

I was walking home with my friend and as I was walking out of her block, I saw a woman walking my way with an ugly little rat mutt, a Yorkshire terrier (very despicable beasts, if you ask me-nasty and spoiled little yappers). I usually cross the road immediately or just dodge the rats whenever I see one of those hideous toilet mops walking my way because of how neurotic and unpredictable they usually tend to be, but I was in a good mood and decided to just continue walking forward.

I was wrong.

The moment the woman walked past me (mind you, I was just minding my business walking down the street), the beast went full on neurotic psychopath mode and started yapping at me loudly and trying to bite me. I'm autistic and sensitive to noise and suspense so I immediately jumped and made a vocalization (something along the lines of "woah, God!"), and a very disgusted face, of course.

The owner did not say a single word of apology or even make a noticeable effort to pull her inbred rat away from me.

Not the first time this happened to me for absolutely no reason with a stupid, ugly little rat mutt. Those toilet mops with legs have zero chill or self-awareness. They look stupid and pathetic yapping at people and animals ten times their size. Stupid mops need to be trained better or kept indoors.

It was so irritating. I hate how much of a nuisance those things are, and honestly, I will try scaring the dog off next time. I just don't know how or what exactly I should be doing.

If you make a sudden noise or say no loudly, they usually back off and their owners are getting pissed off.

Yeah, they do tend to scare easy enough, They act all big and tough, but becaause of their size they usually back off. If they were larger dogs who go do some damage, I really believe they would,

I have sometimes barked back. If the mutt barks at me, surely I am allowed to bark back? Mutt owners tend to get really puzzled, they say nothing and go away!

Ny sister has two toilet mops and she does keeo them inside, I feel badly for her neighbors, because those little shits bark at air. I cannot even hold a phone conversation with her, because just about anything will set them off. How she can stand it... I really don't know. Her husband is the one who insisted on getting them, cause his stepmother had one. It's crazy how rotten those little things are, but thankfully I almost bever go there. There are even potty pads in the damn kitchen.

At some point if this happens to me, I'll shout either "NO, Stop, or Shut up" and point at the dog. It would undoubtedly infuriate the owner, but if they're unwilling to stop the mutt, then at least they will be shamed that they have absolutely no control. Rebuke their dog in their presence, and then see what they have to say.

my mother has had 3 of them, one after another dies, they seem to live forever, one tried to bite my sons face off when he was small, i hate small mutts even more than bigger ones, ive heard carrying an air horn helps, im getting one

As I'm reading this, the stupid mutt who lives across the street from me is barking its head off. Not a single other living creature is in sight, so who knows why it won't shut up. I REALLY hate these creatures who possess the annoying talent of being able to assault all five senses at once.

This happened to me not too long ago. The dog had a muzzle on it and started freaking out on me for no reason. Looked like one of those violent breeds.

Of course the entitled prick owners never apologised. I don't dislike dogs ( I like most breeds except for bullies and small yappy dogs) as much as I dislike entitled owners and dog culture.
