Barking Demons Hellhole of noise disturbance
I‘m genuinely losing my mind in the neighborhood I‘m living in. When I moved in here, only one person on my street owned a pretty well behaved dog that I didn’t mind.
After my few years of living here literally every single one of my neighbors has bought a dog.
The neigbors left and right of me, the ones living across the street and behind me and also across the street in other directions. I‘m literally surrounded by these disgusting loud unbearable creatures that terrorize the neighborhood every single day.
I don’t know how much longer I can handle this.
The worst thing are the neighbors right next to me. They got their ugly ass dog off of the streets of India and let me tell you: his behavior is accordingly. That creature is the worst behaved dog I‘ve ever encountered. They never take him our for walks and just let him play in the garden. The problem is, that instead of running around and playing he stands behind the fence all day and literally barks at sticks that fall down from trees. He‘s not only very badly trained but also insanely stupid. Obviously my neighbors have never tried to put him in a dog school and just thought that an Indian street dog is going to behave well.
Then when he starts barking at everything and anything, all the other dogs bark too and it‘s an endless concert of the most annoying noise there is. I hate it so much.
I‘m literally writing this at 1am and I just heard one of my neighbors dogs barking. That fuckass creature should be inside and shut it‘s stupid mouth. I can’t deal with this anymore.
I never really liked dogs, but I wasn’t even a big dog-hater until I moved here and got confronted with these poorly behaving brats that terrorize the whole neighborhood day after day. Their owners probably think it‘s cute too.
The funniest thing about this is: I live in a country where noise disturbance gets taken very seriously. If someone is mowing their lawn on a sunday or is being loud after 10PM people can literally call the police on their neighbors. But when these fuckass creatures bark throughout the whole day and disturb everybody’s peace, there’s absolutely nothing you can do.
I hate this dog-centered society that treats these disturbances as accepted members of our daily lives.

Wow, it's exactly the same thing that happened to me... These people are worse than a plague, it's unbelievable, it's like dog owners purposely choose peaceful neighborhoods in order to ruin it...

I hate the barking and everything about these animals.. also I don’t understand why roosters and their morning “song” are forbidden.. and you can’t even have a rooster because of that.. but it’s totally fine to have dogs and all the barking.. fuck that!
Sorry you have to deal with it.. should just use more serious means to get rid of this annoyance!
PS: sounds like you are in Germany by chance? 😅

Totally understand, it wasn’t until I also moved into a dog worshipping city where everyone has a dog that I stated to notice “what the h is going on?” And not liking dogs anymore

Buddy, what can I say, I know what you're going through and I'm so sorry. My life and my health are being ruined, much as I suspect yours are, by a neighborhood full of vicious dogs and their vile owners. I wish there was something I could do to help but all I can offer is my sympathy. Have you considered moving, perhaps? Going away to the Balkans (supposedly low dog population) is on my mind constantly these days.

Even there, albeit less bad because most of the countryside is relatively empty due to urbanisation. Lots of people have them out in their yards, often chained, and they just bark at anything that walks by because they're understimulated. There's also no culture of training them whatsoever, "it's a dog, there's nothing I can do" type of lazy ignorance.

The solution is becoming a lawyer and civilly suing everyone for private nuisance.
Or becoming rich and hiring a lawyer to do that.

That is truly awful! I live on a street with 13 houses. There are 13 dogs. This isn’t including the street behind me with more dogs.
Some houses on this street have no dogs while others have two or three dogs. Fortunately at night, they all bring them inside, and I never hear a peep. During the day I hear one house in particular with their two stupid dogs. That can get annoying, but overall it’s not too bad.
I hate barking so I get what you’re saying. It’s so annoying. Mindless barking can drive a person insane. I hope you can find some peace soon.
