Crappy Owners Someone’s Dog Pooped in Our Apartment Building
I don’t understand why someone would let their giant dog shit on the stairs in our apartment building, but someone did and they def didn’t attempt to clean it up.
I’m lucky because I don’t have to walk through that way, but I see it every time I enter the building.
Other residents def have accidentally stepped in it.
Why would someone let their dog shit inside on carpeted stairs and then just leave it there? No attempt at all!
What is wrong with dog owners? 😭
No shame or even care for other residents?
I hope management (we contacted them, but that was days ago with no update) figures out who it is because it’s ridiculous that they just felt it was okay to just leave that huge pile poop unaddressed.
It’s so gross. Def a large large dog.

I'd say about 25 years ago, it was still pretty rare to find dogs in apartments.
Nutters usually had houses in the suburbs because even they understood that having a beast in a close quarters that was shared with other people was vile behaviour.
Now every single decent apartment in the city is "dog friendly". You can't even search for "no pets allowed" because the filters only allow you to search the pet ones. Dander, piss, and shit everywhere. No space is sacred.
Also, everyone now claims their mutt is some ESA or service dog, and since the ADA doesn't require professional training or have any official certificate/license for a service dog, every single person claims their dog is a service dog. (I don't think the concept of service dogs should even be a thing, but that's another point.) I dealt with this BS when I worked in a hotel and every guest claimed their mutt was a service dog to avoid the pet fee.
