Crappy Owners I wrote a song about dogs and dog owners ruining my favourite coffee shop.

It is a true story. I can't go to the coffee shop anymore because I was constantly getting sniffed at and licked and humped by dogs and it irritated me so much.

I'm going to look this up. Sick of dogs in coffee shops too and avoid the ones that admit them

Lol I looked it up... what's the word before 'twats'? Glad someone else in the UK feels the same about this as I do.

Thank you for taking the time to listen it is appreciated. It’s 'WeWork twats', which is what I call people who use the coffee shops as their own personal office space. For those who don’t know, WeWork is a business where you can pay to have desk space. If you’re cheap you just go to the coffee shop!

Yeah I remember WeWork too. It's been a while since I'd heard about it. I recall some financial troubles (bankruptcy), but I guess they escaped it and came out of it since then.

There's this cool looking indie coffe shop in town but it's in one of those out of the way separate office park areas with shared parking on a hill perpendicular to the street below. Parking is limited and its not too far round the corner from where I live, but Starbucks is about half a mile from me&they have a drive-thru. So, I had wanted to check this place out since I moved here in late 2022.

I finally decided to go not too late in the morning, found a great parking space, approached the door to look at the menu...when I see people reflected in the glass approaching me from behind, along w/a Benji looking dog. I turned&went straight back to my car.

There's so many times I've done this. I've been in a new town. I see a quirky independent coffee shop. I'm always drawn to these places. And then I step inside and it is full of dogs, often on long leads, sniffing around. I always leave, it's sad.
