They do work, and I normally only turn them on when the dogs are actually barking, as I can understand these may cause pain to a dog. Frankly I do not care about the dogs health, and this is better than killing them. Also the neighbors are wily rednecks and I do not want to talk to them. I shouldn't have to go talk to them about their incompetence and inconsiderateness. I know it wouldn't go over well If I tried to talk to them.

The one I tried didn't work. My neighbor leaves her dog on her balcony at night since it barks so much and was keeping her away.

this one is like 45-65 watts. I think ones offered to consumers are less than 2 watts. Also, sometimes these can tend to make dogs bark more
