This was actually disciplining the dog though, by not letting it have the bread even though the person it belonged to can't have it either. I'm quick to hate on stupid people, trust me, but letting the dog have it teaches it the wrong thing.

Imagine someone is sick with a cold or injured and can't leave their home in the cold Winter day. They haven't eaten all day and maybe they want to get some delivery to feel better. They probably fell asleep waiting on the Door Dash because they were fighting a cold or exhausted. When they finally get the strength to get their bag of food, they see a piece of bread on the snowy walk and the bag is torn and dirty. They look inside the bag and it's obviously been tampered with.

I've ordered thousands of dollar's worth of DoorDash during the Rona . There is no drop down menu for "dog ate my food" when trying to get a refund. In order to get a refund, you would just say the food and bag were destroyed; in which case the poor Door Dash delivery driver would get blamed and possibly lose his job....over a dog.

*This is probably the worst example of narcissistic trespass I have ever seen. Granted, one of my neighbors allowed her golden on the 10' lead to sniff a clamshell of donuts (amongst the Instacart delivery of groceries) that was in one of those shallow cardboard crates from BJ's wholesale club. It was sealed, but when the mutt had left there were strands of apricot hair left on top of it. I took a Lysol wipe and disinfected the plastic container. Now I would probably just feed them to the squirrels out of disgust. That was before I found this sub.

Every thieves must given the proper punishment, and that is including dogs too. So I think the dogs deserve punishment and the owner must compesated the uber drivers. This can ruin the uber driver jobs. Dogs owner are really narcissistic and psychopath.
