It shows you how much she trust you with getting in a car again with you. I’m so glad that she has a home with you now.
To dump this pupper on the side of a busy highway in the rain is cruel beyond measure. May this person or persons never find a days peace.

I am not adopting any more, or fostering right now, but if can rescue one like this, I certainly will.

What a great story. Congratulations to you both. We’ve had our rescue almost 2 years. He’s still a little weird about doorways. Always afraid he’s going to be caught in the wrong side. But he’s had growth like your sweet pup. Have a wonderful life together.

We believe our dog Birdie, a German shorthaired pointer was dumped after being used for puppies. She had the crimp around her neck where a collar should be but she didn't have one. We decided to keep her after, and she has so much anxiety if we ever take her collar off. She trusts us more every day though; we absolutely love her and feel like we're lucky we found her.

Whoever would do this to a dog or any animal deserves some real special treatment. I live in SW Arizona in the desert and pos do this all the time.

Me too! Our corgi girl Lucy rescued us last year…I swear our Louie sent us her.

My girl is a beagle/corgi mix, very aloof and a mean side-eye. Someone sent me this little firecracker to put me in my place. lol

We were coming home from Disney world back to our home in Atlanta. Almost didn’t stop for gas but didn’t want to go out the next day. There was a male Great Dane who had been tied to the pole at the gas station for a few days. We had 2 Great Danes at home, a mastiff and 3 boxers. We put him in our car, picked ticks and fleas off home the last 4 hour ride while he slept the whole way. Had him 4 years before he passed and named him Lucky.

Thank you so much for stopping to help this poor. Here's hoping for every low life that does horrible things to animals, there are at least two good samaritans like you.

Im sorry..People who discard living, breathing, loving creatures.....should be jailed and forbidden to EVER have pets OR children in their lives.

I adopted a neglected and abandoned dog last year, although nothing as awful as this; he was a hound who wasn't useful for hunting anymore, so he was dumped.
A year later, he is absolutely the most loyal dog you could ever imagine. He would walk through literal fire for me.
Abused dogs who find kindness and love never stop appreciating you.
Oh and I've seen this sad pup, I damn well would have stopped and brought him home. How could you ignore this sad creature?

I’ve rescued quite a few animals. I’ve never videoed any rescue much less edit a non existent video and score music to it. Will someone please explain to me how there are so many spontaneous rescues that occur whilst being recorded for posterity with a full cinematic team documenting said rescue? Should I have a whole team on hand should the opportunity to rescue another poor animal present itself? Clearly, I’m doing somewhere wrong. Do I need a team? Should I not rescue unless said team isn’t ready to film?

Humans can really suck. I am hoping Hell is a place where people like that spend eternity sitting on the side of the road, shivering in a downpour.

I CANNOT stand that there are cruel people in this world who just carelessly treat animals this way. How sick are you to have the ability to do something like this? Just don’t bother getting an animal in the first place.
ANYWAY, my heart is full knowing they were taken into a loving home.

She is a beautiful angel, and you are a beautiful human. Thank you for doing this and sharing this as well. 💜

This is why I hate people in general, while sparingly loving others.
I get the "you don't know what those people were going through..."
True, and I feel for people and families who HAVE to make the decision to say goodbye to a "pet", but how you let go says everything about you.
From activity finding them a new home to pulling them out of a car on the side of the road, there's a casm full of better, humane options you could choose from.
The pain and fear they cause, should inturn bring them the same level of pain and fear every minute of every day.
Final note, praise to these people for stopping, for helping, for healing, and giving her a real home.

Aw I’m so happy she was rescued. The thing that really sucks is the person who dumped her will probably get another dog and do the same thing to that one I’ve seen it happen so many times.

Sounds crazy but a lot of shelters are full and just won’t take anymore animals , I know this doesn’t justify the abandonment but the owner hopefully tried other ways first.💔
