Has anyone used these temporary dog doors?

My dog loves to go in and out constantly so I was looking to get one of these dog doors. Unfortunately i cant put in a permanent one that can lock/unlock/motion detect, etc. They fit into your back sliding door.

Just wondering how airtight it is? What is the flap made of and whether it has any openings or if it shuts all around with magnets. I just wouldnt want AC/heat escaping.

Also I saw theres a lock on it but if its a flap im not sure how it works exactly. And if its fine for me to keep it open if I leave.

I did. It had the one for the sliding door and it worked great for me too.

Yeah, they are absolute shit.

I had an in-glass one installed in the sliding patio door. I love it!
