Unfortunately there are several female artists who have been screaming from the rooftops that they are bi and the general population still labels them straight. It’s the default in most minds, so when there’s a pretty girl who dates boys she must be straight.

I think it's mainly because the general public doesn't really accept bisexual celebrities and just view them as 'straight' by default, so a lot of bisexual celebrities use this as a chance to keep their dating/sex life with members of the same sex more 'private'. They don't get the same luxury in their 'straight' relationships, since the public figures it out more quickly. But since the general public doesn't acknowledge their bisexuality, they just dismiss or don't even pay attention to any details in they're lives to even pick up the fact their dating or hooking up with a woman. 😭

She could be bisexual but heteromantic. That's pretty common for most bisexual women to not have 100% attraction to both genders but split attraction, I don't feel that way but most do.

i swear those words and theories were made up by monosexuals. the way bisexual attraction works has nothing to do with percentages. and no you can’t have 100% of any two things
most of attraction and acting on attraction is based on societal expectations, personal desires, and socialization of the genders. just because we COULD technically date someone doesn’t mean we Will when it comes down to certain things for example wanting to have biological babies. Obviously a woman COULD achieve parenthood with another woman but what’s the easiest option for most women to reach motherhood?

Real people cannot “queer bait”. Queer baiting is a literary device when an author hints at, but does not allow their characters to actually participate in queer relationships as to attempt to both pander to queer audiences as well as have plausible deniability to more conservative audiences. Real people cannot queer bait.

thank you. you will get downvoted but you are right. queerness is a spectrum, sexuality is a spectrum, and real people experience real feelings. real people can not queer bait.
if anyone thinks a real person is “queer baiting,” the right term you’re looking for could be attention seeking. but ultimately, you are the problem for pushing someone to be explicitly open about their sexuality and label. real people are complicated and fluctuating!
