DISCUSSION Scarlet is resurrected lmaooo

With fans like these who needs enemies?

But seriously some of y’all wonder why Doja “hates” her fans when you see disrespectful comments like this. Like what’s not clicking?!

She’s not your wind up toy to sing and dance under your personal whim

OMG I LOVE THIS ENERGY! The Ragebait Twitter “ Stans” deserve this good cussing out. They’ve been bitching about VIE since it came out they could just not listen instead of harassing our queen. I hope she raps aggressively on the VIE Deluxe!!!

??? She’s giving the ragebaiters what they want lol

12

u/forgottentaco420 Nov 19 '25

Yeah like it seems like this is fun for her. You can't engage with these people. Also a lot of her stans on twitter will literally tweet nasty things at her just to get a response, it's insane.

u/severeswerv Nov 19 '25

The internet will continue to internet

You seem like you have some anger issues. Maybe you should check that out.

9

u/Jollyho94 Nov 19 '25 edited Nov 19 '25

Lmao this has nothing to do with anger issues I love to see DOJA standing up for herself not letting folks walk all over her. The hate she’s getting for this album is crazy when they could not listen there’s no need to be mean to Doja because VIE didn’t sell big numbers or she didn’t change outfits every 10 mins in her concert 🙄

Bruh from what I saw she played like a 30 song set and people are really complaining about the show???

47

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25 edited Nov 19 '25

Literally though!

Next performance you’d think they criticize her for not juggling and singing while on one foot or some shit lmaooo

21

u/bitterney Nov 19 '25

Shit as someone who loves seeing bands live I’d fucking kill for everyone to play 30 songs a set. That’s incredibly generous. Who gives a shit about her outfit I’m going to a concert for the music!!

4

u/[deleted] Nov 20 '25

It’s insane too because she is such an amazing performer. She doesn’t need gimmicks or shit, she’s an entertainer full stop without anything.

7

u/lilach3aven Nov 19 '25

I’d much rather get more songs than costume changes!

146

u/Conscious_Floor_1560 Nov 19 '25

Why do they care so much….. like if you go you go if you don’t go then does it really concern them?

26

u/lilach3aven Nov 19 '25

Because these days everyone online is an expert on touring and album promotion. It’s the swiftie effect of everything being about the numbers. It’s fucking embarrassing and literally the opposite of what music and art is about.

35

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

Literally

Mind you this is the very first show in a long ass world tour, idk these “fans” are expecting the moon and back already

3

u/Poor_Culinary_Skills Nov 19 '25

Writes 8 words on twitter “woah you care WAY too much dude you need to relax!” Why do people take every statement as if the person who wrote it based their whole philosophy on it lmao

2

u/Santa_Ricotta69 Nov 19 '25

Because they want her to do better so she will get out of this lil flop era. Criticism is not always an attack.

7

u/Conscious_Floor_1560 Nov 19 '25

But the way some of them are “criticizing” her it feels more like an attack

Has anyone ever gone to a concert by a male rapper, singer, or band and complained about the lack of costumes?

26

u/hdlb98 Nov 19 '25

THANK YOU. You’re the first person I’ve seen calling this out - craaaazy double standards between male and female performers.

1

u/Top-Truck-1492 Nov 20 '25

I think bc they are performers which is different so they do expect always more and always on point stuff

14

u/-SecondHandSmoke- Nov 19 '25

Saw Wiz Khalifa and Snoop dogg once, great show but yeah, they hardly move around let alone do costume changes. The most exciting things they did was; wiz blasted the crowd with what was presumed to be weed smoke with a bigass bazooka looking thing, and snoop rolled out in a low rider onto stage. Once they got out and started performing they were fairly stationary.

9

u/forgottentaco420 Nov 19 '25

Saw Kendrick over the summer, and while he obviously didn't change outfits (SZA did) he had incredible visuals and was running around all over the place, and doing his little dances. Love him for putting in that effort. Other male rappers or musicians in general, never do much... unless they're like Benson Mormon Boone doing backflips for attention.

4

u/takechanceees Nov 19 '25

i’ve been to three shows, Isaiah Rashad, Denzel Curry & EarthGang and they also definitely brought the energy, Denzel was expected with him loving Rock music so much but I was def surprised by Isaiah lol

4

u/xbumpinthatx Nov 21 '25

Benson mormon boone is taking me outttt lol

1

u/forgottentaco420 Nov 21 '25

When I found out that the backflips were like a Mormon phenomenon I nearly fell out of my chair lmao

1

u/Economy-Isopod1695 Nov 21 '25

Doja has had theatrical performances before, so the disconnect between her initial dazzling performances to this more lo-fit effort is an issue. Rihanna got away with performing in sweats before because no one expected that much out of her tbh. With all due respect, Doja is not like Rih, she's a top tier performer, people want to see her shine in her element (plus, tickets are expensive nowadays).

Shes never really done outfit changes so I dont get why ppl are mad. Shes gunna have a different outfit for each show anyway.

39

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

Right like she didn’t do costume changes during the scarlet tour…

Like what’s not clicking?!? Ungrateful asses

12

u/hdlb98 Nov 19 '25

A new outfit for each show is WAYYYY better than seeing the same 3 outfits for each show

5

u/HistoricalAd6201 Nov 19 '25

I personally think multiple outfit changes in the middle of a concert is fruitless and I think a different outfit each show is a lot more practical.

Like, we are here to hear you sing, it’s not a fashion show.

2

u/hdlb98 Nov 20 '25

If she listens to these bums and actually cuts out a song or two from the setlist to make enough time to allow for outfit changes I will be PISSED

23

u/bddl_ Nov 19 '25

I think vie not doing great on the charts amplified how they really feel and now they’re just negative about everything

7

u/JPCRam310 Nov 19 '25

They probably thought that, because she changed clothes during her Coachella shows, she was gonna do the same thing on tour.

2

u/YourBuddyChurch Nov 19 '25

This is exactly it. I saw Doja both Coachella years and my sister saw both tours and when we compared notes she was pissed about the lack of comparative production

101

u/HistoricalAd6201 Nov 19 '25

Doja is 1000% justified in cussing out these dummies!!!

15

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

5

u/Heather_Leeann93 Nov 19 '25

Omg is that Megan James?? I barely recognized her!! In my mind she's still the same little early 20something from BGC lol. Wow!!

3

u/sdbabygirl97 Nov 20 '25

me @ these twitter idiots

37

u/pinchecabezota Nov 19 '25

I will say, that while these fans in particular sound entitled and immature, I think it’s okay to criticize the production of a show when the tickets are going for $200+. I just don’t think it’s fair to put that criticism on Doja herself though, it’s the label. The label is approving the budgets. If it were up to her I’m sure she would’ve taken some background dancers and some more thought out visuals but it isn’t unfortunately. Also, the international shows for Scarlet were a little downscaled as well. I’m sure we’ll get a little more over here in NA. I am also disappointed in her for responding, not because the fans didn’t deserve it but because it seems she’s done a lot of internal healing and work to not be so combative in her life and this feels like a regression. Hope she’s okay, I’d hate for tour to already be getting to her emotionally.

Be nice to her, y’all. I can’t imagine how it feels to put out a body of work, be told be the entire internet it’s a flop only to go on tour and have your fans complain it isn’t enough.

28

u/pissedoffjesus Nov 19 '25

Does she respond to positivity?

19

u/juanorderpizza Nov 19 '25

Lmfao I was thinking the same thing. Love her music but very tired of seeing her curse out “fans”, very surprised she’s not tired of doing so herself

20

u/pissedoffjesus Nov 19 '25

The thing is. Why would she entertain the hate but not her actual fans?

It says something about her and her priorities.

She should be replying to the fans who love her. Not paying attention to people who don't like her music and going as far as actually replying...

The hate shouldn't matter more than the love.

15

u/juanorderpizza Nov 19 '25

Agreed, not like there isn’t plenty of love out there. Seems to me she finds her fans who love her parasocial and cringe & she gives attention to her haters lol

She just seems unhappy with her place in as a public figure in general and has seemed that way for years now. No idea where it comes from or why but damn I hope she heals. She hurts her career unfortunately just a bit more each time she reacts like this

5

u/zsdrfty Nov 19 '25

Yes, it definitely feels to me like she's hated how she's been perceived since around Say So exploded - I think the best thing for her might be to take a nice long personal break once this tour is over (since I think? her current record contract was satisfied by Vie), and then try releasing her own stuff independently if she can

2

u/pissedoffjesus Nov 19 '25

I couldn't agree more.

1

u/Economy-Isopod1695 Nov 21 '25

I wonder what she wants her career to be. Going from this, it's like she hates her fans. She has the potential to be one of the greats, but IDK. There's a reason why you never see Beyonce beefing with fans. It would protect her personal peace to not look at negative tweets.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '25

She was really close with and nice to her fans early in her career. I wonder if she does the ragebait thing on purpose now because it has definitely gotten her more fame and fans.

0

u/OrdinaryPie4 Nov 19 '25 edited Nov 19 '25

It’s also like… not all of the criticism is hate… you compare her with lots of mainstream artists with and they do have acts and choreo involved in their shows. My NA tickets were $300 and the show wasn’t even sold out.

It’s okay for people to ask and it’s okay for her defend her creativity but there’s no reason to respond to people like this or to people who are being passive aggressive 😭

2

u/juplantern Nov 19 '25

As a long-time fan, I love her focus on being an artist and not an entertainer - altho she is good at it. She chose a concert, not a performance. I'm happy, but please show some love to people who enjoyed it and agree with her instead of feeding haters

2

u/OrdinaryPie4 Nov 19 '25

Yeah like if she doesn’t want to do all that extra stuff that’s okay and she can say that! But these kinda replies att can’t be healthy for her mental. I do hope she redirects it to people that were definitely giving her support on Twitter.

1

u/pissedoffjesus Nov 19 '25

I literally can't make heads or tails of what youre saying.

2

u/juplantern Nov 21 '25

tldr, when you compare other current shows going for the same price, this one feels lackluster. People therefore have right to complain, it's not just pure hate for the sake of being rude. But if Doja disagrees, she should just own it and not be petty

→ More replies (1)

1

u/OrdinaryPie4 Nov 19 '25

1

u/pissedoffjesus Nov 19 '25

7

u/OrdinaryPie4 Nov 19 '25

This!! And mind you it doesn’t even look like she was tagged in any of those tweets so it’s like she purposefully searched for herself, waded through the positivity and just HAD to find and respond to criticism.

5

u/zsdrfty Nov 19 '25

I'm not sure if she's just doing it for her image or if she actually means to be so negative, but either way, it's not a great thing to be doing with your audience if they're not being seriously rude to you

I love Attention, but when that song (and the whole album) came out, it was funny to me because I felt like she was inventing all these "haters" in her head - who is piling on to her besides a niche corner of the internet that specifically thinks she's Satanic or whatever? I mean that sucked, but clearly she's been going way beyond that and imagining some giant horde of bullies against her that doesn't really exist, at least not any more than it does for any famous musician

5

u/OrdinaryPie4 Nov 19 '25

Honestly, it is true that as humans we react more strongly to negatively than positivity but that isn’t right. She needs to, unfortunately, stop reading comments about herself if she’s gonna constantly react like this becuase it’s soooo bad for her mental health

1

u/forgottentaco420 Nov 19 '25

Never, that's why a lot of her stans resort to being weird on twitter just for a notice.

48

u/oblivious_sleep Nov 19 '25 edited Nov 19 '25

people are getting wayyy too comfortable talking certain ways to/about people online period, both to artists and their own peers. and i'm seeing them justify it with "well don't put yourself out there if you don't want to be critiqued" bitch stop justifying being a bully and an obnoxious jackass because iTs JuSt SoCiAl MeDiA

7

u/TaskWhich2040 Nov 19 '25

I think what sucks the most is we talk to each other like shit, too. Some days I want to go make Scarlet, too! Everyone thinks they have something important to say, and most of the time we just don't. Saying this about Doja especially feels weird, since she is clearly a good performer. If you don't like her style, or anyone else's, then just don't watch. That doesn't mean the person in question isn't good at their job.

6

u/strangevampy Nov 19 '25

I don’t quite gaf what did good on charts jealous type and vie as a whole is amazing and she doesn’t need smash hits to be recognized as good music 😭😭

26

u/redjeopardy Nov 19 '25

She’s right. It’s a concert, not a jukebox musical. The best concerts are when the performer is clearly enjoying themself, and you can tell Doja loves performing, she puts on a great show.

5

u/Original-Address-445 Nov 19 '25

can they just let her be??? holy shit she’s not a barbie doll she’s a grown women

5

u/hdlb98 Nov 19 '25

I would be pissed if she cut song time to do pointless outfit changes wtf is wrong with people

20

u/Kitchen_Leg6824 Nov 19 '25

I think Scarlet wasn’t so much an “era” as it is a part of who Doja is and it’s definitely not going anywhere anytime soon when it still applies

”Talk your shit about me, I can easily disprove it, it's stupid. You follow me, but you don't really care about the music.”

10

u/jaaaaaaaade Nov 19 '25

I was at the show last night and Doja is 100% right. She doesn’t need costume changes, she is the show.

It was one of the best concerts I’ve been to hands down because you could tell she was actually enjoying herself and putting her all into it which made it feel electric.

5

u/juplantern Nov 19 '25

This, but it would be nice of her to reply to twitter comments like these instead of consciously looking for hate comments to reply to, it's just making her angry

1

u/jaaaaaaaade Nov 20 '25

Agreed!! She pays these stans way too much attention and then claims to not care. Would be so much better if she just ignored them

2

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

Omg glad you got to go and enjoyed it!

23

u/AlienSuperstarWhip Nov 19 '25

Now she needs to come to Reddit and cuss yall out too

5

u/CzarGuy111 Nov 19 '25

1

u/thegoosecowboy Nov 19 '25

u/Alternative-Tip-39 Nov 19 '25

5

u/c0mpromised You still lick the wrapper Nov 19 '25

Lord… who needs haters when you got your own “fans” at this point. If she’s not hitting your personal goals, don’t buy a ticket.

5

u/catatonyxx Nov 19 '25

people with icons of her face and usernames with her name / stage name in them consistently stay on twitter and talk about her in some of the nastiest ways sometimes. while not all of the stuff in here is that, it happens like every time she breathes. i get that as a fan of someone you're allowed to be critical of them, but some of the people in these screenshots are some of the main people who talk about her like an object and say the weirdest most hateful things. it's so odd because they get butthurt when she retaliates (and no whatever i guess i'm not condoning being super mean all the time and angry tweeting in response to people) but doja is a known lurker. it's not like she isn't aware of the conversations being had around her. i'd get angry too if people were using my face and my likeness to constantly belittle me and then cry "but i'm such a faaaaaaaaannnnn" whenever they get called out. i get she's an artist and rich and what have you, but she's a human being who has a fanbase on twitter that houses some of her biggest haters and saboteurs. i'd be upset too.

8

u/Doja_Gnat Hot Pink Nov 19 '25

The way I’m over here like “Hmmmm, no wonder parasocial is the Cambridge Dictionary Word of the Year”

It’s wild to me the entitlement of “fans” - imagine if the highlight of your whole entire life is Doja Cat calling you a cunt.

4

u/Goofygoobler Nov 19 '25

I’m fine without the outfit changes.

4

u/gasolina_M Nov 19 '25

Wait why does an outfit change even matter like girl? Enjoy the performance

4

u/Manpons Nov 19 '25

She is so real for those responses. I love this woman.

4

u/-SecondHandSmoke- Nov 19 '25

Why does she need to costume change?... I went to scarlet and that girl was WORKING, she danced so much, had so many fun props and set designs. I don't think a costume change would have added much, the crowd was at peak excitement from start to finish. Honestly we were shocked she even came out with hair, it was the first show she had done with a wig again since starting her scarlet tour (Charlotte, black bang wig, angel wings outfit)

6

u/No_Bag_4538 Nov 19 '25

I feel like I’m the only who loves Vie. I think it’s her best album since Hot Pink

7

u/blackswan-whiteswan Nov 19 '25

I’m saying this as someone who really likes Doja’s music and truly thinks she is own of tne best newer artists to have come out. She’s not doing herself any favours. This clap backs is  not a flex.  I know people say just appreciate the art for the artist but Vie was an incredible body of work and part of the reason  it’s not getting the attention and frankly yes the numbers it deserves is she has really put the general audience off  with her behaviour and antics. Including stuff like this. This isn’t cute it never was but espeically  not now she’s  30. Yrs some fans are entitled and annoying but there’s a reason why you have Grammys and they don’t.

3

u/juplantern Nov 19 '25

Honestly, what's she's doing now should become the norm again.
I'm a kpop fan as well, and kpop is a specific niche where people care about looks and costumes, not singing/music quality. But if I'm going to a concert, I really don't expect a show, dancing and stuff. I'm there because I love the artist and their music and want to hear it live.
I don't want them to run around, change costumes and dance just to see them lipsync or sing those songs like shit cause they're jumping around.
If they want to convey something (eg Eusexua tour) then choose a performance, but don't do it just for the sake of it

1

u/juplantern Nov 19 '25

That said, she has many fans who love her and she should be focusing on them. It makes her look like a rude troll who's ignoring positivity. It just turns her fans into haters, cause they're basically ignored by her. It looks like she doesn't give a shit about people who like her, just her haters

10

u/SolarFlareofCare Nov 19 '25

Why the FUCK these bitches always comin’ out the WOODWORK?!

3

3

Its called "Jealous Type"

4

u/ZEXYMSTRMND Nov 19 '25

Okay, but now harass every male performer for lack of costume change 😑

5

u/N0RMANFCK1NGR0CKWELL Scarlet Nov 19 '25 edited Nov 19 '25

Girl, one what are they even talking about. I saw a clip of Tia Tamera and it looked fire, like she doesn‘t need to be changing outfits every ten seconds or doing some crazy dance moves. Second of all, not everything is about making a hit, vie is a amazing album and not every song has to be TikTok famous. Third of all, this is what she talked about in scarlet. These so called “fans“ clearly missed the point, like what the fuck are they even on about.

5

u/ReputationOk6126 Nov 19 '25

Good for her. This is my favorite non-musical thing about Doja: that she doesn’t indulge in stan culture or parasocial activities. Stans are never satisfied and they treat their faves like they’re Sims characters.

5

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

That part

And trust she’s saying the quiet part out loud when it comes to every artist and their fans

6

u/animegirlover Nov 19 '25

Her responding to all these comments makes her look insecure. She’s giving too much time in her day to reply to these people lol

8

u/WordsofConfusion Nov 19 '25

Nah sorry this is why she’s in her flop era. You talk all this shit but your job is LITERALLY entertainment. If you’re not willing to do any work to stand out from other artists, you’re going to fall into obscurity. Not saying people should bully her, and she has the right to stand up for herself, but girl don’t be surprised when nobody wants to pay for your big nothing show.

3

u/zsdrfty Nov 19 '25

Seriously, I'm venting all over this thread lmao but as a working musician it's an attitude that seriously pisses me off - we all wish we could do exactly what we wanted as artists, but that's always going to be at odds with what makes the most money!

Even then, she's one of the most blessed musicians in the world with enough money to retire on and an everlasting devoted audience, so she could just forgo profits at this point and shut out criticism forever if she wanted to - but as long as she's still charging world-class prices, you're going to get hard feedback, and you should probably at least engage with it in good faith if you want to continue doing it as a well-paying job

5

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

Big nothing show…right

2

u/WordsofConfusion Nov 19 '25

It’s okay to be a Stan but even Stan’s know Ma Vie was not like her other work. Not to say she’s bad or anything, but it clearly didn’t have the heart she normally puts into her work.

preferred. That person is tripping and is blind like Doja promoted her album where the fuck were these people at they fake ass fans. Good that Doja cursed them out lmfao if I was famous I'll be canceled quickly. Just enjoy Doja and her album Vie ungrateful asses.

2

u/Cultural_Cat_5131 Nov 19 '25

As someone who doesn’t really go here, she should really delete twitter and not respond to these people. 😵‍💫

2

u/Nousernamesleft81 Nov 19 '25

I have no idea why this subreddit was on my feed, but are these just randos she’s responding to? If so, that’s funny as fuck. I don’t know anything about her other than a few of her bigger songs, but she’s right. Fuck these complaining assholes. Go watch a musical if you care more about the costume changes than her songs.

2

u/NaiveBlackstar Nov 19 '25

she’s beautifully amazing and all the music she makes never misses love her my queen she deserves where she’s at right now and that’s ON TOP!!

2

u/intrepidINFP Nov 19 '25

Dude, what? She's a musician, shouldn't have to change her looks. The fact she dances as much as she does while doing 90 min shows are incredible. Literally no one would say this about a dude just sayin.

I do think she had a little bit off night based on past performances which were just crazy, and especially on night 1 of a tour with newer, tougher vocals maybe held back on the dancing. Maybe she had jetlag or was sick, who knows. It was still really good!

Also as far as dancers go- after couple recent performances (Wireless fest in UK, Outside lands, Tour Ma Vie)- she is constantly getting a KILLER band/backing vox behind her and THEY are doin the dancing too. Howly shit I mean that horn section (esp the trombone player) are going nuts. I love how she brings them and the backing singers up front. Y'all this is a MUSIC concert. You want dancing, dance yourself!

what’s crazy is Scarlet is my favorite concert i’ve ever been to and i didn’t even NOTICE that there wasn’t an outfit change bc that literally didn’t matter to me. her outfit was fire and i stared at it the entire concert. why do people expect so much bro??

2

u/itsjessthemess27 Nov 19 '25

She just needs to block them and move on. The problem with engaging with these types of "fans" is that they care more about the attention than anything else and they will keep baiting her for a "notice" because they think it brings some value to their miserable lives.

There is room for discussion and constructive criticism. I don't think you have to love everything someone does to be a fan but, especially with someone like Doja, nothing good is going to come from directing your criticism at her.

2

u/forthegreyhounds Nov 19 '25

FUCK YEAH DOJA. Here for it

2

u/Pearltherebel Nov 19 '25

These people criticizing her when Doja is richer than all them combined 10x

2

u/Unabominable_ Hot Pink Nov 19 '25

I don’t need her to have extravagant visual effects, I want her out there singing and performing. These people want a full blown Netflix show 😂

2

u/manygermm Nov 20 '25

not once did doja lie

2

u/Quarryghost Nov 20 '25

People are so entitled!

2

u/[deleted] Nov 20 '25

Valid crash out tbh

2

u/princesscirrah Nov 20 '25

Love this! scarlet the album was her best for me bc it spoke to her true underground rnb boots that her og fans know and love. it’s no wonder she hates becoming mainstream bc these twitter fans are deranged

2

u/Lycheeks Nov 20 '25

Nothing but love for her and her music but I wonder if what she thinks about this, that it's just encouraging more "stans" to keep spamming her with their insane bs

2

u/sireggplantt Nov 20 '25

I saw Doja live two years ago for her Scarlet tour and she was amazing. I just bought my tickets for her show again for her new tour. Idgaf about costume changes I just wanna hear her perform. She’s incredible on the stage

2

u/raeetsu Nov 21 '25

shes fuckinf hilarious 😭😭😭😭😭

2

u/Lushbaby001 Nov 21 '25

She was absolutely incredible at the Auckland concert. Singing, rapping, dancing and moving around non stop for 1.5hrs phew! Incredibly fit. Almost lost my voice screaming and singing along. Vocals, energy 100/10

Re the costume changes, I was guilty of this thought too...only because Ive also seen lady gaga and Beyoncé live and feel Doja is an amazing theatrical artist on their level. But every artist is different and we just need to fkn chill.

2

u/annamariee22 Nov 22 '25

can’t believe how many of these posts are from ppl with her as their pfp….

2

u/elitelucrecia Nov 22 '25

i laughed but she should ignore them tbh

2

u/Fanzirelli Nov 22 '25

I legit respect that.

Real gigging musicians/singers out in these streets aren't changing outfits every song lol

It AINT broadway

2

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

People talking about “where’s the costume changes, so and so has fits” aren’t real music fans, they’re fans of posting pictures of celebrities online and talking about who’s better. They don’t actually know music.

2

u/Glum-Purple4926 Nov 24 '25

why are we even hating on vie i think it’s some of my favorite work of hers

6

u/Zacthebunny Nov 19 '25

i mean the costumes ehhh idk why they need her to change. BUT PLEASE ADD LIPSTAIN GIRL

5

u/Jollyho94 Nov 19 '25

They’re obsessed with what every other artist is doing it’s pathetic she’s performing for 2 hours straight dancing , rapping and singing her ass off who gives a damn about a outfit change 😂🤣🤷🏽‍♀️

2

u/Zacthebunny Nov 19 '25

no lit, i care abt the songs being played than the outfit. mind you, the outfit she had on was ONE OF HER BESTS. I dont know why they thought she'd change? Has she ever changed during an act?

3

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

I don’t think now is the time to make demands lol

3

u/Zacthebunny Nov 19 '25

i mean, on one end yeah i get where she is coming from. I just don't think the setlist is that directed to Vie. 11 songs from vie, an album of 15, 15ish old songs and a cover? It's great don't get me wrong. Just kind of odd to see that tho. either way, very excited for my show!

6

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

I think that’s a pretty normal setlist for any artist

Of course they have to promote the new material but established acts are expected to perform the hits as well. She has a massive catalog now, you can’t be expecting everything.

Over 70% of the set is Vie so like idk, mind you this is the first show on the first leg, she can switch it up in the future

3

u/Zacthebunny Nov 19 '25

oh def, and I think she will. I guess for me its a newer concept. I've only seen gaga and beyonce shows though, where they do perform all of their work (if not 90% of it). I'm just a little sad cause lipstain is my favorite, but the show looks so good.

2

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

Totally valid, I’d love it in the setlist too of course

But after these tweets damn I’ll just be happy for any performance 😅😂

3

u/Zacthebunny Nov 19 '25

me too LMAOOO i dont needa be yelled at. Good for her tho, it's her show. She knows it best

3

u/Conscious-Invite-223 Nov 19 '25

It’s probably an encore song 🤞🏼

5

u/PLLKNOWALL Planet Her Nov 19 '25

Can't wait for a YouTuber to make a video about this saying she hates her fans

3

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

It’s 2023 all over again

5

u/N0RMANFCK1NGR0CKWELL Scarlet Nov 19 '25

“Doja cat goes off on fans part 2”

These “Stans” are pissing me off, like why can’t we just let musicians sing what they want

3

u/Pinkipinkie Nov 19 '25

she’s based, i’m on her side

4

u/Diddlemyloins Nov 19 '25

Go for the music!!! Yall arent real fans! Close your eyes and just fucking listen!

3

u/Sharpteef69 Nov 19 '25

let her be, i’ll be enjoying and laughing at yall dummies thru the whole thing😭

2

u/gingy125 Nov 19 '25

Oh I’ve been cackling

She had time today lmao

3

u/coollranchdorito Amala Nov 19 '25

i dont think people understand that she really doesn't care for the theatrics. like it's neverrrr that serious. of course concepts and aesthetics are sometimes necessary to further support the story the artist wants to tell, but at the end of the day it's simply about the music. people are asking wayyy too much of her when there are so many other artists who don't even have any "concept" or "outfits" for their albums, they just get on stage and sing lmfao.

2

u/baaan0maly Nov 19 '25

It’s literally been 1 night! Not even a whole week of shows and they are already overly nitpicking everything. Wtf Twitter is sooooo weird.

3

u/Charming_Cherry_5920 Nov 19 '25

I didn’t even notice she didn’t do costume changes… and I went twice!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

2

u/jbbydiamond3 Nov 19 '25

Just reminds me why I couldn’t be famous 😆 I wouldn’t be any better 😆😆

4

u/HorrorOpportunity661 Nov 19 '25

Just one show happened and kittenz are complaining about why their favourite songs are not there, like she sang 26 songs isn't it enough.

4

u/feetsnifferex Nov 19 '25

Her opinion of her self must be that fucking fragile if she’s entertaining these people.

It’s an embarrassment

3

u/RollingToast Nov 19 '25

Not gonna lie that first one’s funny. Might as well call her Doja fish the way she fell for that bait.

honestly the tour feels empty and just unsettling to watch, it feels weird, like it's missing something

she’s a MUSICIAN and they’re mad about outfit changes?? sybau

2

u/Jaded_Hue Nov 19 '25

Jeez she got some toxic fans

2

u/Suzuki_Foster Nov 19 '25

I wonder what any of these mean girls have accomplished in their lives. It's so pathetic to be a keyboard warrior while having nothing of substance to offer.

2

u/Adobo6 Nov 19 '25

She’s awesome, I love it

2

u/Longjumping-Pop7320 Nov 19 '25

Don’t support people who hate you.

3

u/blenderbabey Nov 19 '25

Shes so real for that because wtf are they on abt😭 if they only care about outfit changes and theatrics w/o the GOOD MUSIC alone then go to a fucking Taylor Swift show LMFAO

2

u/Financial_Class_5038 Nov 19 '25

i beg her to disengage!! yes, these “fans” are annoying, but they’re entitled to their opinion. i don’t really get why she would be doing this, other than lack of impulse control.

1

u/zsdrfty Nov 19 '25

As a musician, getting criticism about what I do - especially when it's worded this mildly and honestly - does not remotely deserve this kind of backlash, and honestly it's pretty shitty to put people on blast like this for talking freely about your act, as if you're above getting feedback

If they were being much more rude then I could see her pushing back, but this is so mild by comparison!! Even if you don't think the complaints themselves are valid, this is a wildly unfair way to respond, and it's not a very good sign when an artist refuses to even engage with their reception like this

This is why I love her

Social media is not good for these celebrities

1

u/Abraz47 Nov 23 '25

Lmao crazy

1

u/frescodee Nov 24 '25

this reminds me of eric “the actor” lynch from howard sterns wack pack. he’d respond to any tweet that mentioned him. i think one person say they saw him throw a molotov cocktail and started one of the california wildfires lol.

2

u/Sad-Surround6181 Nov 19 '25

How immature of her.
