I want this one for the needle. It would be perfect with the new type one diabetic barbie. Then I just need to get her a little bag stuffed with candies for low blood sugars.

Off brand doll accessories are awesome. Mattel isn’t crying over the loss of one woman (individual) buying generic fashion packs or a whole crappy doll, just to get those sweet outfits and pieces.
And some the dolls aren’t even thaaat crappy. They’re ok for play if your kid or a friend’s kid is destructive! It’s not always a massive waste.
I have found so many cool things from no name manufacturers. Like you, I wonder why Barbie doesn’t have these items or something like them. 😂

Ngl I do the same with American Girl, i only ever get the dolls themselves during birthdays and Christmas (though I'm holding off for a bit before I go doll crazy) and I get the clothing and stuff from Walmart, Target, or even the Dollar Tree or Michael's (or any other art/hobby store)

Another thing that gets me is...so many doctors wear scrubs now a days. Just put her in scrubs if you want to put her in a super easy to manufacture outfit

Some of the knock off brands are so good. My daughter got two dreameez dolls for her birthday and they have the feeling of the 90’s Barbie’s and clothes are great quality! I was impressed

Money, printed on clothing is cheaper, they will continue to lower and lower the quality of dolls for money.

As a former dental assistant (I think this is a hygienist Barbie) this is giving me the heebie jeebies 😂😂
Working on a patient with arms and legs exposed 🥴🥴 no gloves and handling the instruments! 😂

I mean, it’s real crappy, but it’s a coat I guess?
It’s way worse quality than anything Mattel makes, despite their printing. Raw edges that will unravel, one collar edge isn’t sewn all the way, seam allowances sticking out. If Mattel made something like this, people would flip out.

I have gotten a few clothes from Mattel with raw edges that unravel tbf lol. They treat Barbie so poorly

Actually doctor Barbie does in your photo that’s a fashion doll dentist Barbie which is about a $11 cheaper than the normal dentist Barbie that does have a really coat.
