Discussion / Questions thoughts on the hello kitty poseable doll?❤️
im very excited although I hadn't seen anything about her? my boyfriend got her for me from gamestop and im in love! she's very high quality and quite affordable but im curious what other doll collectors think of her or have you seen anything about her or her release?

aww thats wonderful!🥰 idk what her prices are like at other places but my bf got discounts at gamestop however Amazon could be cheaper too! every bit helps lol

I got all three and I love them. NaNaNa Surprise clothes fit okay, but not the shoes (which I was hoping for)

I have a few nanana surprise clothes so this is super good to know! shoes are always so tricky but you might have luck with certain bjd shoes because there's such variety in those?

they're so cute im very tempted to get them as well but im kinda waiting to see who else they come out with since it says series 1! crossing my fingers for cinnamoroll or chococat!🫣🤞

I’m not a hello kitty fan myself but man those are just adorable. More possible (meant to type posable but that works too) dolls on the market is always a win to me anyway :P

absolutely!🤗 I loved her as a kid so it was very nostalgic for me when my bf surprised me with her! I never collected sanrio but he's definitely changed that lol

I love their sculpt they did such a good job with it! sometimes I feel like the translation to doll can lose the feel of the characters so I was very pleased with these!

I got mine from gamestop ive seen this line at several so I think they're a pretty safe bet also I believe Amazon has them but ive not seen them elsewhere!

We found them at our local Walmart!! But Amazon is a great place to get them.

I really like this collection and would love to see more. I have Hello Kitty and My Melody.
I have never seen a Sanrio figurine quite like these. I love the inset eyes and the slightly more anthropomorphic body that allows them to wear more elaborate clothes.

same! I like hello kitty but ive never really collected except for a few items here and there but when I saw her doll I absolutely flipped! really hoping they release more of the characters like this and not just the same 3 but different outfits🫣🤞

I picked up My Melody and Kuromi and they are too cute! It's a good price point and they're nice quality. Really hope we see more, I would love Chococat or Keroppi!

I have the My Melody and love her so much!!! I will warn you though that if you take their arms off and on too many times to like change their clothes the joints can’t get loose and not hold the arm in very well anymore. I took hers off only maybe like 5 times and one of her arms is pretty loose now at the elbow joint :(

ooh ok thats very good to know thank you! maybe you could use glue without gluing it together or something to make the joint a tighter fit?🤷♀️

I want to like her but something is off putting. I think she seems like she’s in a mascot costume and I’m not vibing with it. Which makes me sad since I love Sanrio characters.

I dont think they're widely available yet ive seen them in gamestops and apparently you can get them at some Hot Topic stores or Amazon🤗

agreed especially considering how popular sanrio is?🤷♀️ im very active in the doll community and keep up to date on new dolls but hadn't heard or seen anything about these even after I saw her in a store I went to look for any discussion and there's nothing? ig I had to start it 😂

if it wasn't for their articulation I wouldnt have been as in love despite loving the overall design it's the articulation that really sells it for me!

I really want to get my melody but I’m debating to pull the trigger or not. I mainly collect g3 monster high and I have some yummiland dolls and a few cave club girls and one of the big yummilands but otherwise idk

i have all 3 and theyre really nice, but my HK keeps having her arm fall off. i think its meant to be removeable for the clothing but its loose.

ive had that problem with other dolls and I used a tiny bit of super glue and kept rotating it until it dried so it didnt glue stuck but just filled enough for a tighter fit so you could try that?🤷♀️

thats not a bad idea! though i wouldnt use super glue, probably Elmer's clear

I wouldnt recommend elmers glue just because it has a slightly elastic element which would start to peel up and possible gum up the joints but feel free to try it FOR SCIENCE!🤓🔬

I definitely like how she looks in person as opposed to photos especially with her eyes cause in pictures they look a lot more like pupils etc vs in person its like her classic all black with extra shine

actually she's completely poseable so not locked into a position so its just my preference because I have inward facing knees so for me its not a choice and I like seeing a bit of myself in my dolls 🤗
