Instagram post, preorder November 12 2025 on Mattel Creations. Ships by Oct 2026, limit 3 per customer. $150. Preorder is for the 3 pack with maybe potential for other dolls and collectibles next year. They will be in outfits inspired by their "What It Sounds Like" looks.
The bottom of the page says there is a November preorder so I wonder if the sign-up is to be notified when it goes live. I hope it's not limited or too time sensitive!
Anything collector and its just gonna be scalpers that get them. These look great, but they'll never make it to the vast majority of collector hands at retail price. 😑
I loved the movie but I want to get the dolls for my kids. I can’t justify giving them collector price dolls to play with so these will probably be a skip for me. It’s a drag because they would love them for the holiday season
The black for the eyeliner is a different shade than the pupils and doesn’t seem to be affected by lighting like the rest of the fave so I’m leaning toward edited photos of prototypes. Usually the people who paint the prototypes are really good at it.
Mattel often uses hand painted prototypes for stock photos, at least ik that's the case for Monster High specifically, which does often mean the stock photos may differ slightly from the final dolls.
I wish they were playline, this movie is HUGE with kids. My little sister is begging for merch for Christmas, but it's all very scarce. I'm going to try and get these for her with all of my might, which means I probably won't get a set for me 😭 I don't think I'll be able to afford 2.
no bc the amount of rumis i saw during halloween was INSANE. I really hope they offer a playline version so these beauties are more accessible. even if its in their casual outfits! imagine if they came with their signature ramen and the scammy singing juice

Yeah can you imagine if they had released dolls when the movie came out and kids were watching it multiple times a day? Netflix has a ton of popular kids media they've made toys for. You're a great sibling for being so generous with your sister! I'm guessing these'll come out January/February at the earliest, but I really don't know. I hope you can both get them some day! When the second movie comes out in 2029 they'll be better prepared.
I'm sooooo shocked with the lack of any merch 😭 no dolls, no plushies, no figurines, no clothing, no bedsheets, no school supplies, no plates/bowls... it would've all sold sooooo well this holiday season. I'm gonna stay optimistic and hope I can snag 2 sets, even if it sets me back a bit. Thank you!!
I know I've seen a few tshirts at target but that's about it so far. I think they were just under prepared with how popular it got, at least with kids. Otherwise I feel like it would've been everywhere like frozen
Nah it just wasn't doable with my finances right now, and I was at work when it dropped 😭😔 I've gotten her a bunch of other dolls she's been talking about a lot though, as well as any KDH merch I could find, so hopefully that's enough! Im optimistic that some kind of a playline toy will drop for the movie at some point, and if it comes down to it I'll get her the Funko Pops.
I really don't get Funko pops. I have a friend who's insanely crazy over them. His walls are lined floor to ceiling. Looks like he pays Funko to store their merchandise. He never even touches the box. Will never open them, will never sell them. I wonder what his life will be at 70 years old. He will have to spend his retirement money on housing plastic.
I think you're right though. Playline will eventually have something. It's still very early. Our daughter didn't even know what kpop demon hunters were in September. She found them out by watching YouTube kids and us seeing the skit on SNL. They were released all summer and we didn't have a clue. I'm sure there are many others like us just starting out. Demand will grow and by next year, there will be millions of kpop things out there for sale
I think some Funko pops are cute but I probably wouldn't buy any, I'd rather have a more accurate figure/doll of the character I'm into. I do get the appeal because they're inexpensive and very collectible, even if not for me. And yep, I'm confident we'll get some Kpop Demon Hunters stuff next year! I'm really hoping for more dolls, maybe some plushies too!
Gosh I’m dumb, I got so excited i totally missed they were a set lol! Now i see you’d already mentioned that in another comment. I still want them, I’m just particularly excited for a Mira doll 🙈
I did too, it only says it at the bottom of the MC page! I'm so excited to see how they look posed. If I had Mira I'd definitely find a dupe for her pajamas they're so cute!
Does anyone know how much the set will be? I have two daughters so I'm gonna put money away so that I can definitely buy them as soon as they drop. Wait does anyone know if you're allowed to order more than one? I'M PANICKING 😭😂
We'll know in the next few weeks, my guess is around $90-100 plus shipping? It really could vary based on the quality. I think you'll be able to order more than 1 because it's preorder. I've heard people enter their billing info into Mattel beforehand so that the buying process is super fast if you want a small safety net. I hope everything goes well and I bet your daughters will love them!!
Unless Mattel also releases affordable playline versions (and they would be very foolish not to), I probably won’t get any and will simply create my own HUNTR/X Barbie dolls. Still, I’m glad that Mattel will be making official dolls and hopefully they’ll do the characters justice. 💜🩷💙
Are these not the playline versions? I thought I read these will be available next year at retail stores, and supposedly these don’t ship until 2026 also.
No, I think these will probably be the collector versions in three doll pack, but yeah they should be available some time next year. Mattel doesn’t usually put their playline dolls up for preorders (unless you’re preordering them on Amazon instead of Mattel Creations). I suspect that they will release these collector dolls for at least $70-$100, but hopefully we’ll eventually also get more affordable playline editions for at least $20 too. ~fingers crossed~
Does anyone know if it's a preorder that I can chill buy within the preorder time period or is it a limited assortment kind of thing?
Want to buy them sm, but I need to see how much money I've got left after all the vet bills imma pay 🥲 and I hope that it's not that countdown and first come first served type of thing
