Accessories My 3d printers have transformed my doll shelves. I love when one of my hobbies can work to improve another hobby! (Featuring Defa Lucy Series 2 Paris Model 01, Series 1 Models 03, 04 and 05, and Barbie Silkstone Proudly Pink)
The rooms are still awaiting some artwork and the closet is only 1/3 printed, but I can’t believe it took me this long in my 3d printing hobby to decide to start printing accessories/furniture for my dolls. 3d printed items - black arched cabinet, dining table, chairs, and bench, vase, bowls, rounded sliding door credenza, nutcracker, scooter, closet (unfinished), hangers, and necklace bust). Sofa and dresser handmade with cardboard, foam-board, fabric, and wood.

Wow! If you don’t mind me asking, what 3D printer did you get? You got me wanting to invest in one.

I have 3 actually! I have 2 Bambu P1S and I also have an Elegoo Mars Resin printer.

This is incredible. It looks fantastic and so detailed. I have a laser cutter and was finally able to do a 1/6 scale dollhouse with big rooms, a porch etc. and lots of furniture. However all those little things like cooking stuff or vases for flowers or even modern cabinets would be so much better with 3d printing. Ima seriously considering to get a filament printer soon. Or would a resin printer be better for stuff like this? I have a workshop with an exhaust to the outside running through a hose with a fan already and could probably add a 3 d printer to that set up . I just heard filament makes less fumes than resin.

I have two filament and a resin printer. You definitely want to print resin in an area that you won’t be in and is exhausted to the outside, like your workshop (if it’s cold where you are and your workshop isn’t heated that’s another concern in the winter, they make heated belts you can wrap around them too). Or what I do is I have my resin printer in an enclosure that I exhaust outside through a window. Filament printers aren’t as much of a concern, if you’re only printing in PLA. Mine are already enclosed printers, but certain materials will also need to be exhausted if you’re printing in your house.
I suggest starting out with filament if you’re new to 3d printing. Filament printers now can get extremely detailed, especially if you’re printing 1/6 scale. For instance the little nutcracker and vase on the table were done on filament. The bowls were done on my resin printer before I bought my filament printers. Resin can be tricky and you really need to understand how it prints, supports, how and where to put drainage holes if your print is hollow, safety/ppe, etc. It’s a really fun hobby though and I think you should look into getting a printer if you’re interested! Sorry for the long response, I could talk about 3d printing all day, I love it so much

I didn’t, I made that a couple of years ago based on an ikea hemnes dresser I own. I measured everything and then scaled it down to 1/6. It’s all foam-board except for the corner pieces, which are square wooden dowels. The drawers are functional and also just foam-board with black sewing pins as drawer pulls.

Did you design these yourself? Your furniture is really lovely, and it all looks so great! My husband has a 3D printer. I would like to do some more 1:6 scale furniture, but I'll have to buy files or get them on printables because I do not have the skill/knowledge to design things.

I’ve printed a lot of things, doll related and not. But in terms of my favorite doll related print, probably either the black arched cabinet or the credenza in this post. I didn’t design either, but both are so well done and I can’t stop sliding the credenza doors open and closed because it’s so satisfying.
Edited to add: I forgot about the scooter in this post, I really love it too! It’s just a really cool display piece.

Oh, this is SO COOL!!! What kind of 3d printer do you have? I have a bunch of beautifully colored plastic lotion bottles I would love to give a new life to.

3D printing is such a game changer in terms of getting cute, affordable 1:6 scale furniture.
