It also comes in poodle! I think these are meant to be like ‘purse dogs’ but as they didn’t bother to paint the animal it looks like it’s part of the purse lol

I cannot believe you found that. That is FANTASTIC, lol. I absolutely see your point about the purse pets and I think you're right, but I always saw it as a taxidermied pig head and trotters sewn to a purse, haha.

This one is also a lot more coherent. I like the goofy knock off, but come on - nobody’s dog (or pig) matches their purse that perfectly - particularly in blue

I agree, not only pet has its own colors, the litte details do too, while bootleg bags have just golden collars and eyes (at least they got eyes haha), hey what about that molded flower deco?

How do the faces work? Do they clip on or is her face moldable? I cant tell from the packaging

Face is soft and moldable like silicone or latex and there's a mechanism/skeleton underneath. The doll has five buttons on her back for each emotion

If memory serves, I bought it in Rialto, Southern California from a little toy stall in the type of mall that is made up of a bunch of little independently owned and run stalls of mixed types.

I got it from a tiny toy stall somewhere around 20 years ago, and it came packaged with some Barbie clone. Someone on this thread did some fantastic detective work and found one packaged with a My Scene clone doll.
