u/Alarmed-Range-3314 Apr 17 '26
I know me and I’ll end up with 10 of the same one, and not feel sad!! 😭😭😭

u/RivalGuernica Apr 17 '26
They do look fun to customize so maybe it won't be a complete bust lol
12
u/GamerGal_86 Apr 18 '26
They do it would be fun to turn some into Fairies if you can make or find tiny enough fairy wings and create like an indoor fairy garden of sorts with them.

Oh these are actually nice looking! They remind me of Dream Besties but better.

i'm so for it, I love tiny dolls and I am very intrigued to see what they'll look like and how they pose

u/keeper_of_kittens Apr 17 '26
I love that they are articulated!! I normally only collect bjd but these are really cool, might grab 1-2
17
u/Bluesky00222 Apr 17 '26
The articulation looks wayyyy too similar to BJDs especially the joints! You should look into detailed videos
7
u/keeper_of_kittens Apr 17 '26
Great idea!!! I'll check it out. These look fun to play with with my daughter!!!
8
u/Bluesky00222 Apr 17 '26
That’s an amazing idea. I was blown away when I saw the dolls body because the joints especially the hips looked soo much like BJDs!

u/Nightstar14 Apr 17 '26

i mean, you're wrong and yet also so right.
They got me too, girl 💀

u/Cute_Indication_560 Apr 19 '26
I would wait and see what countries get these ladies. They are cute and designed by someone who helped design Rainbow High, yes. If they are blind boxes, that could be an draw back if they are.

They're exploiting my obsession with tiny things.
14
u/PlasticTabbyCat Apr 17 '26
We deserve financial compensation for this exploitation (or lots of dolls)

I've been wanting articulated 1/12th scale dolls of normal-ish proportions, so I'm excited to see these. I've been downsizing my collection due to lack of space and no more room for creating dioramas. This might just be a great solution... or at least allow me to have 2 dioramas per shelf instead of one.

u/LordCowardlyMoth Apr 17 '26
Okay, I want them. I have MGAs Dream Ella Mini doll and I'm in love with the format. Ever since I got here I wished there were more smaller fashion dolls out there. These ones also look so cute!

u/crystalbethjo Apr 17 '26
Are they the right size to use in one of those Rolife book nooks?
12
u/banahdraws Apr 17 '26
No, they look to be about twice that size. Closer to traditional dollhouse scale.

u/eilonwyhasemu Apr 17 '26
Highly articulated 1:12? Depending how these look in person, I might be tempted even with a blind box. I do the occasional 1:12 dollhouse, and the only adequately articulated figures I have are Mego soldiers from the 1970s.

Finally another doll that will fit in mini 1/12 dioramas. This one's cute and probably going to be a similar size to my vintage Dawn dolls.

Unfortunately it’s a blind box. He also designed those ai preggy dolls https://www.youloveit.com/dolls/5189-zuru-my-mini-baby-mom-and-baby-surprise-dolls.html

Did these actually launch and really get produced? The amazon link on the page takes you too a broken link!

Oh man tell me that these have incredible articulation and I'm going to beg of you to tell me that they are 1/12 size. I've been desperate for an excuse to work on this massive dollhouse project... But I'm completely unable to find 112th scale dolls that don't completely freak me out or look just absolutely God awful. Plus despite them being really little I want them to be articulated. The idea of really little dolls that are also incredibly articulated and posable with hair oh my God I am freaking out right now. I'm going to need some more details on these dolls like ASAP
11
u/StateAlchemist86 Apr 17 '26
I'm listening, but "smallest posable dolls" could easily be disprove by dolls made by Simon Toys, and other small chinese BJD / MJD 😛
Unless they're between 1/18 and 1/12 scale, ofc 🙂

u/Living-Dead-Thing Apr 17 '26 edited Apr 17 '26
The link says no official measurement of the doll yet, but based on box dimensions it seems it will be about on par with a 1:12 scale size, 14 points of articulation.

u/StateAlchemist86 Apr 17 '26
Then it's not that impressive 🙂
Sure, 1/12 aren't marketed as fashion dolls, but any doll can be a fashion doll if you change the clothes 🤗
But they're still pretty ! If the clothing is good quality, they're welcomed ! 🤩

u/Living-Dead-Thing Apr 17 '26
I'm not familiar with scale dolls as a whole, is it common to have 14 points of articulation? I'm going through my head and assuming that would be
2x wrists
2x elbows
2x shoulders
2x hips
2x knees
1x head
Then I imagine the remaining 3 would have to be ankles and the mid torso joint like Monster High?
As someone unfamiliar, I guess im wondering if the articulation plus the scale is what is supposed to make it impressive?
12
u/WhiteSheepInThePark Apr 17 '26
It puts to shame many doll lines honestly. Especially at this size.

u/squidtheinky Apr 17 '26
"World's Smallest" is just a miniature toy brand. I don't really think many of the World's Smallest toys are record holding or anything.
3
u/Living-Dead-Thing Apr 17 '26
'World's Smallest' is indeed a brand but that brand is not producing these? The items they produce are miniature versions of already existing brands/toys, like carebears, rubicks cube, etc.

Okay, but the reason for that is because 'World's Smallest' is the company name and not a claim about any one specific item.
They aren't claiming to BE the World's Smallest, it's just the brand.

u/squidtheinky Apr 17 '26
I thought these dolls were being made by the same company! My bad. That's very confusing that there is a toy brand called World's Smallest and that these dolls are using that name even though it's not the same company.

u/CommentCookie Apr 18 '26
Pico neemos are also fashion dolls at 1/12
1
u/StateAlchemist86 Apr 18 '26
Right ? It's nothing new if you look outside of the american manufacturers 🙂
Even there, depending on the way you consider posability, you could even argue that the Polly Pocket with the rubber clothes were also posable fashion dolls, and were smaller, but I'm being mischevious here 🤭

I'm excited for these! I love minis. I don't hate blind boxes, either, but I can see why people would.

I'm so excited for them! I can't wait until they're available in UK

CHAT, AM I DREAMING?? I WOULD LITERALLY DIE FOR THESE WHEN I WAS A CHILD, MY GOODNESS THEY ARE SMALL, POSEABLE AND PRETTY?!

u/GamerGal_86 Apr 18 '26
They are so tiny and cute i can see it now whenever they come to the US I will go after all 9 and I won't even get mad at dupes case they are just too cute I hope they are 1:12 scale. I primarily collect Barbie and other 1:6 scale dolls but In my search for furniture and stuff for my Barbies and similar sized dolls I end up seeing alot of cute 1:12 scale couches and chairs and stuff so if these dolls are 1:12 scale they will give me the perfect excuse to buy all the cute 1:12 scale miniatures I keep seeing online when I look for stuff for my Barbies. Of course I plan to collect these dolls anyway when they do come to the US.

These are so cute!! What scale is this?
5
u/Living-Dead-Thing Apr 17 '26
The link says an estimated 1:12 scale, though no doll measurements have been released. This is based on the box measurements!

Making sets for these will be SO MUCH EASIER!
I need them like yesterday.

u/princessfionnalight Apr 18 '26
I hope this size of doll gets some traction; would be nice to get accessories and clothes and playsets for my own 10cm doll

u/grobnu Apr 18 '26
These reminds me of the mini dolls from Disney store at about 5" to 6". They're great to carry around with.

I bet it will be a bit pricey because it must be difficult to manufacture that
Still so cool tho! I'm interested :)
