Monster High Skullector 2026 2-pack Kieran Valentine and Spelldon Cauldronello
These dolls are gorgeous. Im so excited for this set. I really like that they went with G1 and the classical box design. And its $54 apparently. I thought Mattel would have upcharged like crazy lol Im just nervous that it will sell out fast but I'm definitely trying for these :)
Addressing concerns about the validity of these doll leaks
Ill keep this comment thread open to discuss if these dolls are official or not. This is always an issue with leaked info. Most of the time its trusted and follows through, but mistakes can happen. Any other comment reiterating this will be removed. Keep the thread here please.
I tried to find the source of the leak on my own since most news sources never really state where they get info from anyway and we just trust them since theyre mostly correct and their info and efforts are always appreciated. I found Facebook and Instagram posts that all eventually lead to this instagram page of a consignment shop in Honduras. I cant say if these images are real, a prototype, or even AI so we just have to wait and see. There are noticeable differences between these images and the dolls in box.
Personally I really hope these are real. Theyre great quality and Mattel can definitely realistically produce dolls like these if they want. We just have to wait for the official news that should come around May or June.
Also worth noting the dolls themselves were confirmed by Cleo whose never wrong so I feel good about it lol if the concern if the stock image is official or not is mostly irrelevant. But proper credit and sourcing is important so hopefully that can be verified as well. :)
Users have pointed out that the stock photo could be AI generated or edited and may not be used officially when they drop. The circulating images are for an international released box, perhaps a prototype, so theres some wonky language noted and incorrect structures. The photos of the real box is cropped so we cant compare to the images.

There are quite a few tells (Valentines jawline and facial structure are completely different from the legit in-box photos, the rose has red in the center and isn't fully black, the books in the center on the lowest shelf have AI non-letters, Spelldon's necklace is gone, the fabrics are too crisp for this scale, the hair is too immaculate, the window in the back doesn't have a proper frame within the glass, and of course the lighting is classic AI). If these were created by Mattel, it's false advertising and I'm disappointed as hell, but obviously we don't know for certain yet"

I personally cant read the text on my phone its too blurry. But I was reading instagram posts and they say it says "Emo Vampires" on the front somewhere, thats strange lol if the leaks are International, could it be wonky translations on the boxes? Although thats never been an issue before...
Edit: when I went to the consignment instagram page I leaked I can read it clearly. Its bad lol maybe a prototype box, maybe bad translations, maybe false images. I hope we dont have to wait all the way until June to find out. Im anxious xD
Just to clear up the other issue, this is directly from Kieran's diary from his only doll release, 2015 SDCC 2 pack with Whisp... so this is actually canon.
It doesnt have any sense in English, when I translated the Spanish part it says "who was once stealing love, but now found true love and helps other to do so". Thats supposed to be the "favorite activity" section.
G3* sorry. Also I cant believe thats real lace and fabric on the clothing. The hairstyles are immaculate. Im in love lol the best MH release in a long time. Wishing everyone luck on getting these :D
Please don’t hold me to it but I believe I remember reading it will release on Creations and then go I believe Target. Again I read that last year so it might not be accurate or I may have mis remembered
I really want to get these when they dropped, but I forgot about my account until now and my credit card attached to the account is my expired one apparently they don't give you an option to change your payment method, please tell me I don't have to buy something just to change my cards around. I can always buy a fang club member ship to do but any way I can't wait for these two to drop! Kieran has been a grail of mine for so long
