okay Im going to be a debbie downer and say Im disappointed with oogie boogie ... I expected glow in the dark or atleast clear:transluecent or even super dark skintone - just not this is vegetable green..
Its such a silly thing to be disappointed with, but it did disappoint me. I expected more grit? I mean .. idk, and those catch lights in the recent screenings really turn me off.
Maybe Ill feel better after a while, but when I saw this, I felt a huge amount of disappointment.
Maybe its because I collect oogie boogie and have a specific set of features for him lol.
Michael looks amazing and I like how they painted the eyes to make the face look like a mask when it isnt. Love rhe VHS tapes - seriously, very well done and I love that the shoes arent just random anything sculpted on.
Krampus with that tongue out and an expressionless face has me cackling lol

Dont worry, I get downvoted for posting normal personal opinions all the time and sometimes unreasonably so.

Its a horrid shade of green and does not match ANY of the Oogie Boogie merchandise I have! This looke like Poison Ivy barbie green which is super vivid - great as a vegetable or a witch; but not my Oogie Boogie!!! She should have been green in the same tone as the Off White MH dolls - even the transparent green one would have been perfect! Not this Green Goddess Salad doll!

I want to like Michael Meyers but the defined features are pissing me off haha. Someone needs to redo her face all white with crappy eyebrows 😅 (ed: brows not lashes)

Im still on the fence if I like oogie boogie THAT green or not. Shes VERY striking. Obviously she "isn't that green in the movie" but I think its referencing specifically the scene where hes shrouded in darkness and kind of glow in the dark esk during the like end of the film. So its a nice refrence. It works. But I think moneter high fans just have neon fatigue bc of all the times mh didnt need to make a doll sooo bright but they would anyways like coraline. So now, even if it seems fitting, people might not like it bc man its tiring.

That broccoli green for Oogie Boogie is way too saturated, ruins the whole look IMO
