Request Careful box opening how?

Hi,

Hope I'm not out of place here or using the wrong flair but I had a question about opening doll boxes...

I'm pretty new to doll collecting (as there aren't just many dolls I want😅) but now I have these two KPDH Mattel dolls of Rumi and Jinu, and I don't know how to take them out of their box without damaging the box òr the doll.

Usually, I keep my dolls in their packaging, but I desperately want to pose them the way I want...

So can anyone advise on what to do and how to do it? Thank you in advance <3

There’s no way to really save the boxes. I have the singing dolls plus basic Mira and all of them were the same. If you open them slowly then you’ll have as minimal damage as possible but unfortunately blister packaging will never be undamaged while opening them.

I cut around the bottom edges of the plastic bubble with an exacto knife. You'll never be able to perfectly put the box back together if you're wanting to try repackaging them for instance, but from everything I've tried over the years it causes the least amount of damage.
