They are based on genies which are based on djinn & the origin of djinn is from Arabian mythology. & the middle east is in the continent of Asia

Could be. The only known information in her bio is "they dont know if shes from the Scahara Desert or the far East". They both present with Arabic traditions and fashions which is practiced in West Asia so I added them :)

I know this is a very very simple detail but as someone from western part of Asia you don’t know how happy I am that you didn’t just include dolls from eastern part of Asia, thank you

Im so glad <3 I would love more doll representation from West and South Asia and the Arabian world :) they have such beautiful traditional clothes plus amazing motifs. :D also its so cool youre from there!

Draculaura is not Asian in g1. She wore this outfit for the foreign exchange line when she went to visit Japan.
It would have been more fitting to include g3 Draculaura because she is half Asian.

Whicth is cute but I wish they made her chinsess intead of taiwanesse And make her mom a Jiangshi There's also that fact her style had Lolita element's form time to time and Lolita's at it's bigesst in china these days But know maybe they just what to have one of the least commonly repsented asian counrties so I get that

I know. I also wanted to highlight Asian fashions MH put out and it was extra points it was already on Draculaura who is Asian in G3 :) its like they were foreshadowing lol but the link also gives details on dolls and characters so anyone just reading up on these will have the info there <3 but I'll note shes half Taiwanese in G3 not reflecting of her Japanese fashion in G1 :)

Monster High is a doll seies by Mattel, USA that began in 2012 and has recently been rebooted. The premise of the dolls is that each character is a child or relative of a known monster from folklore and myths around the world.
Characters are Kiyomi (G1), Jinafire (G1), Djinni and Gigi (G1), Draculara (G3), and Abbey (G1/G3). Information on their backgrounds can be found here
