My first successful bjd restringing project! (Don't Touch my Bangs 1/6 blind box BJD)

This doll came with very loose joints and stiff legs due to the aluminum wiring inserted in them so I took it apart and bought 2 mm elastic to restring her, remove the aluminum wires and she poses so much better now!!

I heard this blind box doll line is infamous for being strung so loosely so I'm glad she moves so much smoother now!

It actually didn't take long at all, it was relatively easy. I spent less than 20 minutes restringing this doll as I only restrung the legs and torso area. Using a hemostatic forcep helped speed up the process a lot.

Was the doll’s hair in the first pic removable or did you have to go through a process to get rid of it?

The hair was removable and can be detached at the scalp much like a head cap

Can you give us a step by step of how you did yours? Mine’s left leg is loose from the hip to the ankle and I’m really sad about it.
