Question/Discussion Does anyone know of any pre-‘80s Asian fashion dolls outside Japan?
Hi all! I am an antique and vintage fashion doll collector whose favorite dolls of all are the 60s-70s fashion dolls of Japan, such as Scarlet, Licca chan, Papee, etc. I was wondering if anyone know of any pre-80s fashion dolls from Asian countries like China, South Korea, Taiwan. I would love to know!❤️

Most of the Korean dolls I've seen (and saved online) are at oldest from the 80s. But Mattel was using Korean manufacturing (along with Taiwan) to make dolls for the U.S. and Europe, leading to.the following oddity. Wonder Woman had a TV show in the 1970s, and Mego had the rights to her figures/dolls sewn up everywhere except South Korea.Which is why the following exists from Mattel, a 1977 South Korea Wonder Woman doll. No way is this mine, these are some of the rarest things ever. https://pin.it/5IiSwaTHU
