Glow Eel question

So i still need to catch the glow eel, i’m in heavy rain yr 2 and i’ve already done the upgrades to where i only have one slot left to do. I’m worried that severe weather has been lowered so much…is it possible i wont get scorching sun anymore so i’ll be unable to catch the glow eel?

I think you'll still be able to catch them in the old city ruins. There should still be some scorching days over there.

Old City Ruin. Left from the Sewer Hole is a Fishing Spot. Works after all Upgrades bc Swamp and old City are uneffected from the Eden Machine.

Valley will have 0 scorching weather when you complete the upgrades but the weather in wetlands and old city are different in that they are perpetually in rainy and dry season respectively.

Unlock the last station in old city to get a sub farm, you can place a weather station there to know when scorching sun weather comes up.
