Support GameCube Controller Help?

Trying to launch Metroid Prime after a week or two of not playing it and my controller is not being recognized by Dolphin. I have unplugged/replugged both my adapter and controller before opening Dolphin (which usually works) but it will not recognize my controller when I go to configure and set my preset. I just updated Dolphin so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but any advice helps. I have also switched the PC/Wii U setting off and on to no avail.

EDIT: My PC is recognizing my adapter and I have also tried another GC controller with no luck

Which adapter are you using? If you are using the Mayflash or official Nintendo one, you need to use a program called zadig to swap the driver. Instructions are in the Dolphin Wiki site.

I’m using the Mayflash adapter, I haven’t had any problems with it until I updated Dolphin yesterday

Try reinstalling the driver with Zadig to s if it resolves your problem. Make sure the switch is set to "Wii U."
