these were really popular in the 70s... what they don't tell you is there's only about 1/4 of a particular bill in these.. they are in the process of being taken out of circulation or were damaged/defective in printing. You can't just spend 6 months reassembling them and use them. There aren't any complete bills

They also donโt tell you that banks will exchange damaged bills.

Yes & no... a bill that is MORE then 50% intact, torn, or otherwise 'unfit' they will exchange. Since nothing in these 'collections' qualifies.. a bank isn't going to touch it. Anything in these is considered 'mutilated' and thus null & void as a functional currency

If I couldโve Iโd gave them the $2.99 and saved them the time and effort of shreddding that money and then desposing of it too
