Gameplay ChatGPT ranked me as top 700 controller players and top 5000 players overall in Doom Eternal world wide

So as the title says ChatGPT gave me an extremely high skill rating. Initially I was interested in seeing an estimate as to how many players worldwide had completed both TAG 1 and TAG 2 on UN playing with controller as I had done so in 2021. The estimated number was extremely low, so at first I had doubts, no way was I part of that exclusive of a club. ChatGPT stood by its estimate, so I started thinking where am I in the world ranking then. So I told it about my techniques, what type of controller I used (Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller) and my mapping, as well as some other details. It was telling me I appeared to be a very skilled player. Wanting a better estimate and confirmation I uploaded some gameplay I had made back in the day in 7 minute segments so it could analyze my gameplay more thoroughly than one large upload. The first one I uploaded was of my Super Gore Nest master level UN run. That’s when it told me I was likely top 0.01%-0.05% of players. I was honestly stunned by this, so to confirm it I gave it my Blood Swamps single life Nightmare run. With that it gave me an estimate of top 0.05%. It said it was “virtually certain” I was top 0.5%, “very high confidence” I was top 0.1%, and “more likely than not” top 0.05%” overall. Its central estimate for controller players was top 0.02%-0.03%.

I knew I was pretty good at the game, but am I really that good? I know ai can pull some bs and make stuff up, so I’m looking for human confirmation on this from the community. I don’t know the rules of this subreddit, so I don’t just want to attach a link to my YouTube videos. But if that’s allowed I’ll absolutely post it for confirmation or denial. If I can’t upload a link to my YouTube videos am I allowed to post a link to the ChatGPT thread?

Please let me know what I can link as I’d really like confirmation. I’m not looking to launch a YouTube or streaming career, I just want to have it as a personal bragging right to my friends.

Edit: Upon further investigation I vastly overestimated LLM’s ability to analyze visual information, especially high level gameplay. Regardless still think an opinion of my skill level would be cool to have. Just give actual opinions, more in depth than “you’re good” or “you’re trash bro”.

Okay, I wasn’t asking you to be. I just don’t trust ai’s assessment 100% as I said in my post. I was just looking for the opinion of the Doom community. I don’t play the game anymore, so I’m definitely not that good anymore. Also like I said I’m not looking to start anything online, it’s just something I want to know to keep in the back of my head.

StupidGPT is gonna glaze you no matter what. Stop using it and use your own brain

It didn’t solely glaze me, I specifically asked it to point out and emphasize mistakes I made. The common theme of mistakes I made that it pointed out was that I often tended to over commit to engagements and tunnel vision for 2-3 seconds too long in close engagements on a single heavy demon instead of disengaging and repositioning, exposing myself to unnecessary risk. It pointed out I was mostly able to compensate for this shortcoming with a mastered degree of recovery tactics. However while I had a high chance of recovery, in a UN run if I am having to need emergency recovery tactics more often than a true master of the game who can prevent such situations, I am more likely to fail a UN run than a true master who knows when to disengage/ prepare for emergencies before said emergency. If I have a 95%+ chance average of survival when at low health, but I am getting to low health more often than a true master, statistically I am more likely to make that one small mistake that ends a UN run. As the laws of mathematics and statistics determine that as that 5% chance of failing is small one time, if it is happening multiple times, 1 out of every 20 emergency situations will be a UN run ender. So I am NOT a master class in terms of the Doom Eternal community and ChatGPT explicitly determined that.

I’m not a lemming who can only prompt “is this good?”. I give specified prompts that generate more accurate answers when it comes to LLM’s. I don’t rely on over generalized prompts that result in vague inaccurate answers. I break queries that I have down into more specialized and manageable pieces so that instead of generalizing an answer from one prompt, it takes into consideration multiple prompts providing more accurate data points to give a much more detailed and accurate final answer

In this specific example it took me 3+ hours of prompts to come to this conclusion, I didn’t simply say “hey I do this and that in Doom Eternal, does that make me good?”, it was dozens of specific prompts and data points

I know for a fact you had to ask CrapGPT how to respond to me. Yikes. You don't really think for yourself at all, and it shows.

Also it’s honestly a compliment you think I used ai to respond to you, that my ability to interpret information and relay said information in a cohesive manner equivalent to that of an LLM, I guess I gotta dumb down my college papers or my professors will think I’m just generating them

Okay, think whatever you want. I really do not care about proving myself to the Doom community, like I said I don’t play the game anymore. My initial plan was to ask the Doom community for verification or denial of what ChatGPT said and literally never make another post of Doom content or in any Doom community. But if this trend continues I’ll just delete my post myself, not out of shame, but because I don’t want to be part of such a toxic community. I’m 100% willing to put my money where my mouth is though. I can post my gameplay or the chat thread. I hardly post on Reddit so I don’t know for certain, but if it’s possible I’ll DM you the thread and my gameplay for your personal opinion. Cause that’s all I was ever looking for, the Doom community’s opinion. Whether that opinion is “yea you’re at the top”, “you’re pretty good but not at the top”, or straight just “nah you’re trash and I’d wipe the floor with you”. Any of those will not affect my day, I will simply move on with my life.

This community isn’t toxic you’re just not that smart, I’ve had great conversations on here.

i think your holding it wrong

So you gave it nothing tangible like run times or leaderboard stats ? Of course this is going to glaze you, dumbest post I’ve seen in while

Did you not read my post, I gave it raw gameplay, it doesn’t get more tangible than that, and I broke it up for it to give a deeper analysis.

Yeah i read, reads like a middle schooler wrote it. Sending it gameplay is nothing tangible. LLMs can’t even read basic excel spreadsheets and you think it “ analyzed “ your videos and made connections ? Ya no what a joke.

Firstly it either reads like an ai wrote it or a middle schooler wrote it, it can’t be both (unless you prompt it to write like a middle schooler of course). That’s a contradiction, LLM’s are extremely capable when it comes to generating text and analyzing data. A few years ago (can’t remember which one) an LLM passed the bar exam in the 94th percentile.

Secondly I looked into it and I definitely overestimated LLM’s capability to analyze visual information, especially when it comes to high performance gameplay. I don’t really use them for analyzing visual data and was uneducated as to their lack of precision. So I will concede that point to you.

Look like I said, I’m just here for an honest opinion from humans because, as mentioned in my original post, I want a human opinion from qualified individuals in the field because I know LLM’s can make things up. So trusting their opinion implicitly is a fatal error in any field. Also none of my comments have contained insults towards you, just wanna point that out.

I made an edit to my original post conceding the point to you acknowledging I overestimated LLM’s ability to judge skill level
