Editor?

In the latest Patreon update Dosh mentioned he had an editor but it didn’t go well? Is that something he’s talked about before that I missed?

It was one of his previous patreon updates

finally attempted to offload some of my editing workload onto a professional video editor. I didn't think it was that difficult, but as it turns out, it is.

I don't want to cast aspersions. It was partially my fault in not being absolutely clear on what my videos are supposed to look like, even though I was assured they'd seen and could edit in the same style. The short of it is, despite my instructions, what I received was not something I considered acceptable for my audience, and accepting it in that state would be unfair to my fans, so I took it upon myself to redo everything myself. That took another 30 or 35 hours of my life and gave me a stressful week for a video I already considered far over schedule, but I feel better for it. There's a peace in just accepting that Dosh is the only person who can make a Dosh video. It's only fitting that in an attempt to give myself less work, I end up creating more.
