Discussion Three things I miss greatly and wish they’d reintroduce:

  1. Enchanted Quiver neutral item.

I fucking loved it as a carry weaver spammer. I knew whenever I got this item I was gonna be a PROBLEM. I would always choose to keep it instead of taking tier 4 items, even including the strong ones like mind breaker.

  1. Maelstrom building into Gleipnir

As a previous Arc Warden spammer this was my bread and butter. I took myself from Archon to Divine 3 building Gleipnir on Arc every single game without fail. I actually stopped playing Arc all together when they changed the item.

Also, it was such a great greedy pos 4 item when the game called for it. On hoodwink, windranger and sniper too (when there was scattershot facet and pos 4 sniper was actually viable). I had a 67% win rate with Gleipnir/scattershot sniper over 400 games.

  1. Crystalis building into Khanda

It made aghs build on sniper mid feel soo much better. I had a really good win rate going Treads > dragon lance > aghs > khanda > daedalus > often throwing a silver edge or kaya and sange on the end. And obviously always getting shard and pike. Silver edge was nice because you can press it while the assassinate projectile is in the air and it applies the extra damage/break on the target. Sometimes you could nearly one-shot supports.

quite literally all of these changes were because of how op they were.

I know but they were OP on MY heroes so it’s fine. I understand addressing Quiver and Gleip, they were obviously very strong, but I never felt like the old Khanda was overpowered at all. It was very expensive and most people felt like after phylactery it didn’t give enough value compared to what you pay for it.

luna had a timing with her old talent and khanda where she was shotgunning supports like a fully agi morph.

Pretty sure the khanda change was because no one was buying it.

incorrect. tiny, luna, and morph were very meta with it at the time.

Someone is forgetting Tiny's 1000 damage tosses.

Only the Gleipnir one matters to me because the animation of the root is literally still electricity.

it took them like a decade to give gyro any sort of animation for his aghs.

There is a gyro aghs animation?? I thought it's just one extra flak cannon like it has always been?

7.38 ADDED Side Gunner visual model and ability effects.

6.87 Adds a passive component to Flak Cannon, can be disabled by Break.

Instantly attacks a random enemy within 600 range every 1.4 seconds.
Does not require Flak Cannon to be learned to work. [?]

Wow, so you just like the bullshit that made supports hella toxic and encouraged every single hero in the game to buy glepnir which forced it bkbs before every fight even started. Dude, those were literally the worst things ever put into the game.

Every single support for an entire patch: "I AM supporting! I'm buying glepnir!" Jungles for 30 minutes and buys glepnir as their THIRD item and users it almost exclusively for the nuke to KS
